OVERVIEW
This charming Mediterranean villa is located in the vibrant fishing village of Medulin, where houses are dotted around the harbour and in the old nucleus of narrow streets leading up to a two-spire church. The village has numerous long sandy beaches and a string of cafes, restaurants and bars lining the seafront. Small fishing boats bob along in the harbour, market stalls cram the narrow streets and in the evenings life goes on in cafes and clubs until small hours. This village has something for everyone. Families with children will enjoy the beaches, ice cream, large fairground, trips to the nearby islands, teenagers and adults will feel pretty safe in the friendly local bars and nightclubs , spending the days doing all kinds of water sports such as scuba diving, sailing and surfing, and culture vultures will visit ancient churches, concerts, nearby Roman rustic villas, and the amazing 2000 year old city of Pula. The villa is in the heart of the village, surrounded by similar houses, close to the beach, public transport and all the amenities. The house comprises 145 square metres and the grounds are 700 square metres, lined with mature trees, which provides a good deal of privacy. The house is air condtioned, one AC unit is on the ground floor in the living room and the second one is positioned in the first floor corridor.
Accommodation
Ground floor
The ground floor has a light and cosy sitting room with warm Mediterranean colours and parquet flooring. The room is dominated by a large modern open fireplace, and has smart cream leather sofas and a satellite TV. One of the sofas can be used as a pull-out sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, cooker and hob, coffee machine, microwave, and a full set of cooking utensils and tableware. There is a shower room which also includes a washing machine and a clothes drier.
First floor
A nice wooden staircase leads to the first floor where there are three bedrooms and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. The bedrooms have honey-coloured parquet flooring and new beds, with plenty of storage. The largest bedroom has a double bed and its own upstairs balcony. The second bedroom has one double bed, and the third bedroom has twin beds. The bedrooms are simply but stylishly furnished, and have a restful feel to them. All the bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside
The villa is surrounded by a wall and fence and has three parking spaces just outside the garden. The garden is leafy, planted with fig trees, vine and mature trees, providing privacy and shade. The villa has a nice large swimming pool (8x4 metres, 1.4 metre deep) and a whirlpool. Some sun loungers and garden chairs are provided. There is a large covered terrace with an outdoor dining table and chairs, and a garden barbecue.
