Villa Batellina is located on the small island of Rava, size 3.63 square kilometres. It can be reached by ferry from the mainland town of Zadar. The location is absolutely stunning, as the villa is a few metres from the sea and positioned in front of a beach, where it also has its own yacht mooring. The sea is the colour of emerald and aquamarine and warm to swim in. The villa consists of five elegant and spacious bedroom suites and wonderful terraces which give an impression of a ship sailing on the sea. It is quiet and offers wonderful relaxation, and is a sailor’s paradise.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is arranged on three floors. The villa consists of five bedroom suites. A stone paved front yard leads to a twin outer staircase which ends in a covered terrace from which you enter the villa.
Ground floor
From the lobby you enter into a spacious living/dining area with an open plan kitchen. A spacious living room with parquet flooring, Persian rugs and wood ceiling beams has partially exposed old stone walls. It is furnished with sumptuous leather sofas and armchairs sufficient for the whole group of and has windows opening out into the garden. This room has a large plasma TV/DVD and audio system, and here is also an internet corner with a desk and office space. A few steps down is another part of the sitting room with a smart L-shaped sofa and coffee table. A drinks bar, solely for the use of the guests, separates the living area from the kitchen, which is all made of stainless steel , fully equipped for gourmet cooking, with an electric and a gas hob and oven, fridge/freezer, extra fridges, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, all cooking utensils and good plates and glassware. There is a dining table which can sit 14 or more persons. On this floor is a guest cloakroom/WC.

First floor
A beautiful oak staircase leads to the upper floors. There are three bedrooms on the first floor. Two double rooms with shower rooms, facing the garden side. One large bedroom suite facing the sea and with a large balcony. The suite has a double bed and a sitting room with an extra bed. All bedrooms have satellite TVs.

Second floor
The bedroom suite has a double bedroom and a sitting room with a sofa which can be used as a bed, and its own shower room. This room has a large window with an amazing sea view. In addition there are two double bedrooms each with twin beds, sofas and shower rooms. All bedrooms have satellite TVs.

Garden cottage
A cottage in the garden has a two bedroom apartment and a sitting room and bathroom. This cottage is decorated and furnished in a modern style, in contrast to the rustic feel of the main villa.
OUTSIDE
The villa is located in 900 square metres of the Mediterranean garden on the edge of a pine woodland and has a direct access to the beach. The front entrance opens to a spacious covered terrace equipped with an outdoor dining table and chairs, in front of which there is a relaxing lounge area with comfortable wicker armchairs overlooking the sea. The beautiful and crystal clear sea in front of the villa is great for swimming. The sunbathing loungers with umbrellas and pool towels are provided for sunbathing on the beach. The terraces and balconies of this villa are so positioned that they make you feel as if you are about to dip in the sea.
Boat mooring
A boat or a yacht can be moored on the villa’s mooring for no extra charge.

BOATING
Small boats can be hired from the main coastal towns and resorts. The coastline and inshore islands are ideal for exploring by small boat. To hire a motor boat you will require an appropriate licence or you will need to hire a skipper. For more information visit our Charter page.
