Blue villa has been recently built from natural locally sourced materials, such as Istrian stone and wooden beams, and tastefully decorated with Italian tiles and furniture. The villa comprises of m2 living space, surrounded by m2 of garden lawn and Mediterranean plants. Wrought iron balconies and shaded garden terraces provide perfect places for relaxation and al fresco dining. The house is full of summer light and many French windows open out onto the garden and balconies, where there are sea views from the first floor. The villa is situated in tranquil countryside, but is only 3km (2 miles) away from the charming coastal town of Vodnjan and the local beaches.
ACCOMMODATION
Ground floor
The villa is entered through a covered porch, leading into a bright and spacious open plan living area. Terracotta tiles are used throughout the ground floor, where the feeling of space is accentuated by three separate adjoining areas. A wonderful white country kitchen at one end flows into the dining area with a wooden dining table for ten people. The sitting area is furnished with comfortable sofa, armchairs and other seating. The overall impression of an elegant and comfortable farmhouse is completed with old wooden ceiling beams.
The kitchen is equipped with all modern facilities: electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and excellent cooking utensils. Plenty of good quality glassware, plates and cutlery is provided.
In the sitting area there is a satellite TV/DVD/music system, and internet. A huge country fireplace made of stone and wood in the local tradition is a functional but decorative feature of the sitting room. On this floor are also a cloak room and an utility/storage room.

A tiled staircase takes you from the ground floor into the first floor hallway. The hallway and all four bedrooms are provided with oak flooring. Thwo bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and double beds, and the other two bedrooms have twin beds or double bed and share a family bathroom. The bathrooms/shower rooms are beautifully tiled and contain plenty of towels. All the bedrooms have excellent new furniture, and good bed linen. They have sea views and look to the nearby towns of Vodnjan and Pula. Some bedrooms have balconies and there is a very relaxed and atmosphere in the bedrooms.

Garden and pool
The Villa is surrounded by a large walled garden, the walls built exquisitely from the local stone. A stone patio is outside the sitting room and next to it is a mosaic-tiled pool, size 8m x 4m. At one end of the garden there is a barbecue and a pergola to provide shade and a hand-made stone table for dining. All sunbeds and pool towels are provided. There is an outside shower.

BOATING
Small boats can be hired from the main coastal towns and resorts. The coastline and inshore islands are ideal for exploring by small boat. To hire a motor boat you will require an appropriate licence or you will need to hire a skipper. For more information visit our Charter page.
