There is also a regular car ferry service from Makarska on the mainland directly to Sumartin at the south east end of the island (see Jadrolinija website for sailing schedule and prices). GUEST REVIEWS

The villa was excellent. It was spacious, clean and well maintained. The WiFi was helpful to keep three teenage children occupied. The swimming pool was cleaned regularly and provided a much needed way of cooling down in the excessive heat. The villa was convenient for the town centre, restaurants and supermarket. Although the sea was extremely close to the back gate, it was a little tricky to access given the rather rocky nature of the seafront. I did, however, make it into the sea for an early morning swim on a couple of occasions.

We mostly ate in the villa venturing out only twice for an evening meal. Both restaurants were both very pleasant with good food at a very reasonable price.
