OVERVIEW

This is an old stone house with very thick walls, very typical of Dubrovnik, with green shutters and attic windows and a view if the sea. The villa is located in one of the most pleasant and leafy parts of the town, amongst parkland, and about 7 minute walk from the historic centre of Old Dubrovnik. Air conditioning is installed in every room.

Accommodation

Ground floor

The spacious ground floor is accessed from the courtyard and is covered by square stone tiles, whilst wooden beams cover the ceiling. This is an open plan sitting - dining area with a kitchen to one side. The area is bright and light, enhanced by light décor and cream covered L-shaped sofa and dining furniture. There is plenty of seating for eight people. This area contains a satellite TV and Hi-Fi. The white stylish kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and washing machine. All cooking utensils, plates, glassware and cutlery are new. There is also a WC on the ground floor.

First floor

Two bedrooms and a bathroom, with bath and shower, are on the first floor. The bedrooms have beamed ceilings, a double bed, side desk and chair and quality bed linen. Bathroom towels are provided.

Second floor

Wonderful sea views stretch from the top two double bedrooms which share a shower room and have a double bed each. They are simple and stylish and very comfortable.

Outside

In front of the villa is a small patio. At the back there is a lovely terrace with sun beds, surrounded by lush mature Mediterranean greenery and glimpses of the sea. A barbecue and a dining table are to one side of the terrace which is a most relaxing place.

What a fantastic location, within 10 minutes walk of the old town
“ The house was great, comfortable and very clean. It had most items required for a good holiday. There was an abundance of clean towels. The staff were extremely helpful, especially in organizing a trip to Montenegro. The driver/guide was extremely knowledgeable and it was a fantastic visit. The location was superb, being in a quiet residential area overlooking the bay. It was within 10 minutes walk of the old town. A great place to stay. ”

Dubrovnik Airport

Dubrovnik Airport is located near the town of Cavtat 19km to the south of Dubrovnik. There are direct flights to Dubrovnik from most European countries and from Philadelphia in the USA.

 

There are bus and taxi services into Dubrovnik centre. A taxi transfer can be expected to cost around 35 to 40 euro one way depending on the time of day and the season and a minibus around 50-60 euros.   A shuttle bus service from the airport to Dubrovnik is 7.5 euro per person each way.
