This is a very rare type of property for Old Dubrovnik, the UNESCO world heritage site. In this ancient city of medieval cobbled streets with closely built houses and palaces, this 16th century stone villa is surrounded by a large garden which provides a haven of tranquillity from the hustle and bustle of this famous city. Even more unusual is to have the facility of a large swimming pool, which is extremely rare for a villa in the very centre of Dubrovnik. The villa is entered through the garden door, and has an easy access from the road, suitable for people with walking difficulties. With four parking spaces for the guests, this is an exceptional Dubrovnik villa.
ACCOMMODATION
Ground floor
The open plan sitting/dining room is tiled with terracotta floor tiles and has antique pieces of furniture. There is comfortable seating for ten people, including a sofa bed, and additional two chairs can be brought in as a supplement. Antique chests, mirrors and lamps decorate the elegant sitting area and the modern technology includes LCD TV, satellite TV, DVD player and CD player, also a wireless internet. The dining room has a large dining table and seating for 10 to 12 people, and an impressive open fireplace. In a separate kitchen there is a cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, washing machine, clothes dryer, iron/ironing board. There is also a guest cloakroom/WC. A double bedroom with a shower room is also on the ground floor.

On the first floor are five double bedrooms a bathroom and a shower room, and an additional separate WC, overlooking the beautiful garden and the pool. All the bed linen is provided and also plenty of towels.

OUTSIDE
This villa has a wonderful garden, set to lawns and terraces. The villa has a 10m x 4m swimming pool, which is an incredible bonus for central Dubrovnik. Around the pool is a large decked area for sunbathing, with sun loungers, umbrellas and towels provided. The garden is surrounded by a high stone wall and is an oasis of peace and relaxation. Palm trees and Mediterranean plants predominate, and a large stone paved terrace is covered with climbing grape vine, providing wonderful natural shade. The stone terrace is reached from the sitting room and has outdoor dining furniture, and also an old medieval well, which is a lovely feature. There is an outdoor summer kitchen with a brick and stone open oven and barbecue grill for alfresco dining. A few stone steps lead down to the lower garden and the pool area.

All prices are in euro (EUR) and for the whole villa based on Saturday to Saturday bookings. Tourist tax is extra at a rate of approx 1 euro per person per day. Minimum stay is 3 nights, all year around.
