Four charming beachside villas in the celebrated town of Hvar on the island of Hvar, Southern Dalmatia. Only 50 metres from the local pebbly beach. Suitable for individual villa bookings sleeping 8, or for groups of up to 32 persons. Swimming pools, air conditioned.

Four recently built Mediterranean villas on neighbouring plots, each one in its own garden and with its own pool. Each villa has four double bedrooms and three to four bathrooms, and is furnished in a modern easy going style. Short path leads down to the beach. Villa Mia and Villa Vita both have 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms and a private pool and garden, each. Villa Elisa and Villa Diana also with 4 bedrooms, are more spacious and have four rather than three bathrooms. Elisa and Diana also have private pools and gardens. The proximity of these villas and the pedestrian links between them makes them ideal for larger groups of 12 to 32 who could rent two or more villas to accommodate their whole party. Villas Vita and Mia are immediately adjoining each other and are perfect to rent in combination. The villas are located in Hvar town on Island Hvar.

HVAR

Hvar is one of the most beautiful and most fashionable towns in Croatia. It is small and relaxing, but it is full of great Italianate medieval architecture, 700 years old city walls, dominated by what is arguably the most beautiful ancient town square in Croatia. The square is car-free. Just walking along the sea to the town square with its grand church tower and 17th century theatre is a pleasure. You can sit in one of the numerous seaside cafes, bars and restaurants enjoying a cappuccino, an ice-cream, a cool bear or a lunch of grilled fresh fish and marvellous olive oils and local wines, whilst the world lazily passes by. These are simple pleasures of holidaying in Hvar.

Hvar is unique in that it really feels relaxed and restful, whilst at the same time it has a lively feel of many things going on. There is history, architecture, superb dining, walks along narrow cobbled streets, all kinds of sports, as well as smart nightclubs and beaches. It is popular with the sailing community, young adults and family groups, not to mention European royalty and Hollywood celebrities. There is really something for everyone. All this is enhanced by marvellous sunshine for which Hvar is known above all other Croatian holiday resorts – the sunniest island on the Adriatic, with most sunny days all year round.

ACCOMMODATION

Ground Floor.

Each villa is individually designed and feels different. Equally high standards of décor and comfort are applied throughout each villa. Ground floor is a spacious cool open plan space with a modern sleek kitchen, bathroom, and a large living room and dining area. There is plenty of room for sitting and dining for 8 persons in each villa. Satellite TV/DVD and music centre is available in the living rooms, from which large French doors lead out onto sunny patios, lawns and pools surrounded by deck chairs and sun loungers.

The kitchen includes all electrical appliances, such as dishwasher, washing machine, good cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and a coffee machine as well as plenty of cooking equipment, plates, glasses and cutlery.

First Floor.

Spacious bedrooms with balconies are reached via an inside staircase. Most bedrooms have sea views. En-suite and separate bathrooms are modern and tastefully tiled, with good lighting, mirrors and plenty of bath towels. Villas Vita and Mia have two twin bedded rooms while in Diana and Elisa all the rooms are doubles. Good quality bed linen is used throughout and the villas provide a high standard of comfort in one of the best locations in the town of Hvar.

Services

The price includes daily maid service and change of towels. Bed linen is changed every three days. There is a manned reception desk serving the villas to deal with any inquiries.

VILLA VITA

Villa Vita is a four bedroom villa (semi detached) with three bathrooms sleeping 8. There are two double bedrooms and two with twin beds. On the ground floor there is a large, open plan kitchen/dining area/ sitting room, with French windows opening onto a terrace, private garden and pool. The villa has been equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player, Hi-fi, a direct telephone line and Internet connection. From the garden, a pathway leads just a minute walk to a lovely beach, and a seaside walkway can take you to the centre of Hvar town in 10 -15 minutes.

Villa Elisa has four double bedrooms and four bathrooms and can sleep 8. On the ground floor there is a large, open plan kitchen/dining area/ sitting room, with French windows opening onto the covered part of a private garden with garden furniture, which leads to the private outdoor pool. In addition to the inside stairs, you can reach the first floor terrace from the garden, by steps leading up from the garden. The villa has been equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player, Hi-fi, a direct telephone line and Internet connection. The private pool and garden is reached from the living room and is set out to a nicely kept lawn, with Mediterranean shrubs and trees. There is plenty of room for sunbathing and a barbecue for the exclusive use of guests. From the garden, a pathway leads just a minute walk to a lovely beach, and a seaside walkway can take you to the centre of Hvar town in 10 -15 minutes.

RESTAURANTS, BARS and NIGHTLIFE

Many good restaurants and bars are dotted all around the town of Hvar, serving either simple fresh seafood and pasta, or providing a full-on gastronomic experience, such as Macondo restaurant in one of the small Hvar streets. Seasoned party goers recommend the Carpe Diem nightclub in the harbour, which is furnished with exotic Arabian furniture and décor and provides cocktails and champagne until small hours of the morning.

More superb restaurants are located on the nearby Pakleni islands, which you can reach by a small ferry. Our favourites are Patak (also known as Kod Patka) and Meneghello, the latter in a lush tropical garden and decorated with exotic art work; they are both restaurants which provide great cooking and a magical location.

BOATING

A visit to “Pakleni” islands is highly recommended. You can swim there in one of the quiet unspoilt bays with azure water so clear that you can see the sand on the sea bed. All water sports are provided – sailing, water skiing, scuba-diving, fishing.

Well worth visiting are nearby islands of Brac and Vis, each one spectacularly beautiful. Brac has a famous Bol beach great for windsurfing, and near Vis is equally famous blue cave of Bisevo (small island), where you can be taken inside the blue cave by local guides.

PRICES & AVAILABILITY

All prices are in euro (EUR) and for the whole villa based on Saturday to Saturday bookings. Tourist tax is extra at a rate of approx 1 euro per person per day. A refundable damage deposit of €500 (EUR) is payable on arrival.
