Sea view from the villa
This is a new, stone built traditional Adriatic villa located in a small and ancient village of about 60 inhabitants, on the island of Krk. This is the largest island in the Adriatic and is connected with the mainland by a bridge so you can get there by car. The villa is a 2 minute drive away from beautiful coves and beaches, in a setting surrounded by olive trees and scented Mediterranean herbs. The villa is surrounded by a walled garden, and has a children’s playground, and a lovely pool. Inside, the villa is light and airy, with modern appliances and new beds, a good place to relax in comfort, and within easy reach of charming towns and beaches of Krk island.
The villa
The villa has views over the sea and countryside, and lovely renaissance church tower can be seen from the villa and the garden. Only a ten minute drive brings you to the busy town of Malinska, with sea sports, more beaches, excursions, shops, cafes, restaurants, markets and the Adriatic nightlife.
ACCOMMODATION
The villa is reached through the garden gate and a stone path. The total space of the villa comprises of 120 square metres.
Ground floor
A terracotta tiled ground floor is open plan, with a fully equipped country kitchen containing fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, toaster, grill and storage units. The dining table can sit 8 people and separates the kitchen from the sitting area. All cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery are included and are new. The sitting room extends from the kitchen, but is set out as a separate space with comfortable sofa and armchairs. Pretty red and white check curtains reinforce the country feel of the villa, whilst the large floor to ceiling doorway offers a lovely view of the garden and pool. An lcd satellite TV/DVD player and music systems are provided in the sitting room, also a WiFi internet. A storage and utility room with a washing machine is also on the ground floor. One of the shower rooms is on the ground floor.

First floor
Three double bedrooms and one shower room are on the first floor and have views over green fields and the sea. The bedrooms are all rustic and very pleasantly and simply furnished, one bedroom having a fifties walnut wood double bed and wardrobe. The bedrooms open out onto stone/terracotta tiled balconies with great views. The third bedroom has twin beds. One shower room is on this floor. Very nice new bed linen and plenty of towels are provided. Each bedroom has its own lcd TV.

OUTSIDE
Garden
A pretty walled garden of 630 metres surrounds the house. It is laid out to lawn, and into several sections and terraces, some of which are planted with olive trees. A very green garden is itself surrounded by fields and green woodland on one side, whilst joining the edge of the old village at the other end. At one end of the garden is a children’s section with climbing frames and a slide, but even if the visitors do not have children in tow, this is quite separate and can also be removed. There is a stone built barbecue-grill in the garden.
Pool
An oval shaped pool is placed in the middle of the garden lawn and surrounded by flat stones where sunbeds and pool towels are provided.
Terraces
A covered stone terrace extends from the sitting room and overlooks the garden and pool. A large table and benches provide seating for al fresco dining. Also, the bedrooms have upstairs balconies withy wonderful views.
