“ Very comfortable with plenty of room and ensuite bathrooms for all, restaurants, cafes and shops with in a minutes walk. Walking distance to other restaurants, cafes and bars. Drive to nearby sandy beaches, beach bars, top wineries and gourmet restaurants and a sandy islands. Great for families and lots to do in this traditional small fishing village. “

The villa is located in the heart of the charming seaside village of Liznjan and can accommodate up to eight people. The traditional stone built house has a small but delightful landscaped garden incorporating a swimming pool (6m x 4m) and extensive covered and shaded terraces. With air conditioning and top quality furnishings this spacious holiday home offers the highest standard of comfort.

The accommodation is finished to a high standard throughout. Downstairs floors are all marble and first floor bedrooms have parquet floors with tiled bathrooms. Heating and air-conditioning can be thermostatically controlled room by room.

Leben. Alle Geräte haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Swimmingpool war ständig sauber. Nette und hilfsbereite Nachbarn. (The house was kept in good order. Each bedroom has air conditioning. Besides, there is everything in the house for day to day living. All devices worked perfectly. Swimming pool was always clean. Nice and helpful neighbors.) ”

About location:

“ Sehr gute Lage: Market ist 50 Meter vom Haus entfernt. Restaurants sind 5 min zu Fuß zu erreichen( Stari ribar und konoba Galiola
kann ich empfehlen): gutes Essen für wenig Geld. Strand ist ca. 25 min zu Fuß zu erreichen, und 2 min mit dem Auto, hat uns auch
gefallen. Abends war sehr schön und ruhig. Medulin ist auch 20 min zu Fuß zu erreichen, Paula 15 min mit dem Auto. (Very good location: Market in 50 meters from the house. Restaurants are 5 minutes walk away (Stari Ribar and Konoba GaliolaI is recommendable): good food for little money. Beach is about 25 min walk away and 2 min by car; we liked it. Evenings were very nice and quiet. Medulin is also 20 minutes walk, Pula 15 minutes by car.) ”

Liznjan was a great base to travel throughout the Istrian Peninsula.
The Villa was simply brilliant, peaceful location but with access to all key amenities, and the pool was brilliant. Had just everything
that we could have wished for.
Additionally appreciate the advice and guidance on what to do/see.
Had particularly great times in Pula and Rovinj.

A brilliant holiday
“ We had a brilliant holiday in Liznjan Villa. We loved the village and found two very good restaurants, minutes walk from villa. We did
not have a car but as we like walking this was not a problem. Most days we took tracks down to the sea and enjoyed the wild life on
the way. We walked into Medulin but part of the way was along a very busy road so the next time we took a bus in. We also took a
bus into Pula but came home by taxi. We found a Lydl for a large shop but found the little shops in the village were well stocked. ”

About location:

“ We loved the village and surrounding areas. It was fairly quiet and we enjoyed walking down to the sea and the beach cafes. The
amphitheatre at Pula is well worth a visit as are the restaurants in village. ”

Pula Airport

Pula Airport is 7km from Pula centre and 3km from the main motorway that runs the length of Istria. Most destinations in Istria are within an easy one hour drive of Pula airport

Rijeka Airport

Rijeka Airport is on the island of Krk. The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Rijeka centre is 24 kilometres from the airport.

Airports in Italy

 

One option for getting to Istria, the north west end of the Croatian coastline, is to fly to Italy. This works particularly well if you are staying in northern Istria or in you want to combine your holiday with a short stay in Venice  

Ryanair flies regularly to Trieste in north Italy from London-Stansted. There are also flights from Bari, Trapani, Alghero and Valencia. Trieste Airport is 1 hour drive from the Croatia/Slovenia border.

Slightly further away, but still within reach, there are regular flights by Ryanair from many European cities to Treviso (just north of Venice). EasyJet and British Airways and many other operators fly to Venice (Marco Polo Airport). A couple of days in Venice makes a great two centre holiday.
