This quaint stone cottage has been around for 400 years and has recently been transformed by its present owners into a bright and pleasant modern two bedroom holiday home with all the comforts. The villa has a small waterside front terrace which is great for relaxing and watching the boats sail by. At the back there is a pretty walled Mediterranean garden. It is only three kilometres to the Dubrovnik marina which has a very large pool, good shops and restaurants. There is public transport to Old Dubrovnik, which is 12km away. In front of the house there is a possibility to moor a boat of up to 8 metres long. The villa also provides two bicycles which are useful for exploring the wonderful local countryside. Most memorable are the sea views, feeling that you are amongst the local fisherman, in the middle of a boating paradise.
The villa is arranged on two floors and there is a small outhouse which houses a WC and basin. The villa is accessed from the front terrace, and you enter into a light stone tiled sitting room with two sofas, coffee table and a TV/DVD, ipod dock and telephone for local calls. Lovely rustic character of the house is in kept inside where some parts of inside walls are exposed to reveal old stone. It is so nice to be able to glimpse the sea through the door and windows of the sitting room.
In the adjacent building there is a modern kitchen, which is joined to the main house with a passage. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooker, convection hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, cooking utensils and nice plates, glassware and cutlery. Adjacent to the kitchen is a beautiful dining room with a dining table for six people. The villa has a modern shower room which is located on the ground floor, also a utility room with a washing machine.
Upstairs there is a bedroom with a large double bed and a charming sea view, a desk and a wardrobe. At the back, a twin bedroom overlooks a green and pleasant garden. All the bed linen and towels are included.
The villa has a small front stone-paved courtyard which is gated and has table and chairs and sun loungers. Beach towels are also provided. Here you can feel private and yet very much in the heart of local community. At the back of the house is a good size well tended Mediterranean garden, with figs, orange and lemon trees and scented herbs, nooks and crannies, old stone well, stone paths and steps, and a covered gazebo with an outdoor dining table, BBQ, more sunloungers and chairs. There is also an outhouse with a WC and a basin. There are just a few steps to the sea front, where boats are moored.

Very comfortable and spacious with decent sized bedrooms and copious storage space in wardrobes and drawers. Air conditioning in both bedrooms a godsend. Has everything you need including beach towels! Large garden with BBQ area - electric Weber BBQ and hence electric lighting in the pergola. All very tastefully equipped. Great villa!
Quiet, non touristy location. 3 restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Beaches require a car/bus journey. Beautiful pool in the local marina.

We had a great time staying at the Villa Nautika. It was good to meet Cvjeto on arrival as he gave us quite a few tips of what to do and see. The villa was very comfortable and the bedroom upstairs had a fantastic view of the sea. There weren't many restaurants in walking distance of the villa but we enjoyed using the barbie and eating outdoors in the garden. Cafe Vapor down the road is a good place for calamare and chips at a very reasonable price. We took the local bus a few times to Dubrovnik as it was easier rather than trying to find a parking place and enjoyed walking the walls, taking in the sights and the delicious ice-cream.
