Old Dubrovnik Villa is located in a small quiet street of the Old Town of Dubrovnik. It is near the sea and the famous ancient city walls. The villa is made of stone and is centuries old, once a monastery. In recent years the villa was completely renovated. The interior of the house reflects the charm of the Old Town. Antique furniture is combined with the modern and the house is furnished for comfortable living. The owners have supplied quality bed linen, towels, books, toys for children.

The house has 110 m2 living space, comprising of a kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds, two small bathrooms, one bedroom with a sofa bed and a small room with built-in bed 140 cm wide. It is approached from the main street Stradun uphill through smaller streets and several dozen steps. The entire Old Town is a pedestrian zone and driving a car is strictly forbidden and porters are at hand to carry your luggage. A car is not needed. From the windows on one side you can see the city and its famous red roofs. From one of the windows you can see the garden and the alley. In the evening you can enjoy the unique beauty and atmosphere of the old Dubrovnik City with a glass of wine. You can put out wooden chairs on the street in front of the house and sit there as the locals do, to chat and cool themselves in the evening air.
ACCOMMODATION
Ground floor
The ground floor has a spacious and well equipped kitchen/diner. There is a small blue sofa and a dining table with four six chairs. The kitchen has a cooker with two hot plates for cooking and a lot of cooking utensils, lovely plates, glassware and cutlery. Old antique fireplace made with artistically cut stone gives character to this room. Stone floors and small windows painted by an artist give the place an individual atmosphere.
First floor:
To get to the first floor you pass through the corridor, enter a small room containing a sofa bed 140 cm wide. From this room you enter the small bathroom. Next to this is a small bedroom with a double bed. The bedroom has windows on both sides. One side gives a beautiful view of the city, the other side has a view on neighbour's garden full of Mediterranean fruit and trees. The bathroom is small, equipped with a toilet and a shower.

Second floor:
The second floor is one large bedroom with double bed, a bathroom and a small room with built-in bed. There are two windows on both sides in the large bedroom. You can see the City and its rooftops from one window, with the view extending from the other window to the adjoining garden and the sea on the left. In the small bedroom a built- in small double bed is 140 cm wide and provides space for two additional people. The bed has a firmer mattress and is built at a height of one meter. This room is not air conditioned. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet and a shower.

DUBROVNIK BEACHES
Less than a hundred meters from the house is a small passage through the wall and it leads to the crystal clear waters and the open air café-bar with the best sea views in town. A few stone steps down is an entrance into the sea where you can swim. More suitable place for swimming is 200 meters away from the house. There are flat rocks where you can sit and lie down. There are also steps down to the sea. These passages through the walls are called Buza. They are located just below the magnificent city walls of Dubrovnik, which gives them a special atmosphere. Banje, a popular and rather smart main town beach, is only 15 to 20 minute walk from the house.

BOATING
Small boats can be hired from the main coastal towns and resorts. The coastline and inshore islands are ideal for exploring by small boat. To hire a motor boat you will require an appropriate licence or you will need to hire a skipper. For more information visit our Charter page.
