Overview
These two adjacent renovated and refurbished stone villas have been owned by many generations of the same family and can accommodate up to 24 persons. Villa 1 was originally designed as 3 x one-bedroom apartments each with a living room and bathroom, one on each floor and with separate entrances. Villa 2 has been designed as 2 x two-bedroom apartments. Both villas are now rented together as one unit which can accommodate up to 24 people.
The accommodation is ideal for large groups who wish to be together, but also retain some privacy. In total, it provides 7 double bedrooms, five living rooms, each with a double sofa bed, five fully equipped kitchens and five bathrooms. Both villas have a pool and outdoor dining/summer kitchen areas. The beach is 700 metres (about half a mile) away. WiFi is provided.
The villa is located in the quiet village just about 1.5 km from the sea. The ferry port in Ploce is just about 25 km up the coast and from there a regular ferry service runs to Trpanj on the Peljesac peninsula. Further down the coast lies Klek, a small Adriatic coastal town situated on the coast road between Split and Dubrovnik around a semi-circular bay with a large pebble beach where you can hire deck chairs, parasols and pedal boats. It is a good spot for outdoor activities, such as cycling, climbing, tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, hiking, diving, sailing and fantastic swimming. The whole area is full of lovely beaches.
Accommodation
VILLA 1
The three apartments in Villa 1 each have a double bedroom with a large double bed, a modern bathroom with a hydro-massage shower and a fully equipped kitchen/living room with a double sofa-bed and a dining table seating 4 persons. A satellite TV/DVD player and a music centre are provided in each apartment. The kitchens have a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave oven, coffee machine and toaster. The apartments are decorated in shades of cream, pale green and peach with some exposed stonework retained. There is air conditioning in the living rooms.
VILLA 2
Each of the two apartments in Villa 2 contain two double bedrooms, each with large double beds, a kitchen/living room with sofa-bed and a modern bathroom with shower. A satellite TV/DVD player and a music centre are provided in each apartment. WiFi is provided. There is air conditioning in the living rooms.
Outside
The villa is surrounded by a pleasant garden, encompassed by a traditional village stone wall, giving it security and privacy. The garden is laid to lawn and Mediterranean shrubs and herbs. Outdoor cooking facilities and a barbecue are available and each villa has an outdoor dining table seating 12. The two pools are for the exclusive use of the guests and are surrounded by a stone sunbathing terrace with sun loungers. The villa is within easy reach of several wonderful pebbly and sandy beaches.
