Villa Relax is a typical renovated old seaside house built from the famous white stone of Brac island. It is in the centre of the picturesque town of Sumartin, near the harbour, shops, restaurants and cafes, just five metres from the sea and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The villa provides every comfort and all four bedrooms are en-suite. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, which may suit persons with less mobility. The villa is entered from the street by five steps that lead into the garden. The main entrance to the house is from the garden area. There are stunning views of the sea from the villa.

Villa Relax

Sumartin is a lovely old fishing village, and great for long walks along the sea, beaches with pristine pebbles or sand, with pine woods providing natural shade on the beach. The harbour is full of fishing boats and the food and wine are excellent, with masses of sunshine.

Kitchen/dining room/ sitting room and three en-suite bedrooms

The kitchen/diner and the sitting room on the ground floor of the villa are tiled throughout with tiles of terracotta and stone shades, giving it a feel of airy and open space, enhanced by wonderful sea views from various windows.

This floor comprises of a well equipped classical wood kitchen and a large kitchen table, which can sit 8-12 persons. It opens out onto a stone paved terrace with more outdoor seating and view of the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and a coffee maker and plenty of cooking utensils, cutlery, plates and glasses. Washing machine, iron and ironing board and a hair drier are also available.

The adjoining sitting area has comfortable sofas and armchairs, a desk, nice period lighting and quality paintings. There is a satellite TV, DVD player, home cinema and a wireless internet and a window looking at the sea.

From the spacious hallway you can enter three large air-conditioned double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Bathrooms are tastefully tiled and have good quality bathroom furniture and fittings. All the downstairs bedrooms have solid wooden floors and are furnished with antique furniture, mirrors and desks and provide excellent bed linen and plenty of towels. They too have stunning sea views.

One en-suite double bedroom

This floor comprises of a very spacious loft bedroom overlooking the sea, with wood flooring and an en-suite bathroom. This is furnished in a classical country style, with new furniture. In addition to a double bed, there is a desk and a comfortable two-seater sofa which can also be used as a double bed. All bedrooms are decorated with paintings of Croatian artists.

Garden, pool, terraces

The villa is situated in a garden of 450 square metres, planted with mature palm trees, bougainvilleas and other Mediterranean plants. From the sitting room a doorway opens out onto the stone-paved covered shady terrace, with a barbecue, an outdoor table and chairs, overlooking the pool and the sea. A magnificent red oleander tree adds a special atmosphere to this setting.

Three steps lead down to the gated large terrace with the swimming pool (25 square metres) with plenty of outdoor furniture for sitting and sunbathing, and yet again, a beautiful sea view.

Parking for two cars is available on the street, 30 metres away from the house.
