This restored and beautifully furnished seaside villa is located on the shore of a lovely old fishing village. The villa consists of the main house with three bedrooms, and a separate one bedroom guest cottage. It is so near the sea that the fresh sea air pervades in the house and garden, and an occasional sea spray can reach it. The sunny organic garden is full of fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit available for the guests’ consumption. The villa is tastefully and comfortably furnished with a mixture of antique and modern furniture and built with good quality traditional materials such as stone and wood.
ACCOMMODATION
The main villa is on two floors and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The garden cottage has its living room on the ground floor and a staircase leads to the gallery which has a double bed.
MAIN VILLA
Ground floor
On the ground floor are a large sitting room, dining room, kitchen and a separate WC. The kitchen floor is tiled with pale terracotta tiles, whilst the kitchen units are of oak wood. The kitchen contains an electric cooker, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, bread maker, and a microwave oven. The kitchen is entered from the walled courtyard which contains an outdoor summer kitchen with a stone barbecue. A large sitting room is beautiful, with its mahogany flooring, and a feature wall of exposed stone. The room has an L-shaped large and comfortable sofa, and a great mahogany dining table. An elegant stone open fireplace is a wow factor of this cool and restful room. Lovely period lighting and maritime lamps add to the atmosphere. This room also contains the satellite TV/DVD player.

First floor
All the bedrooms have mahogany parquet flooring. The main bedroom is furnished with a classical mahogany double bed and bedside cabinets, writing table with a nice mirror, and plenty of storage. The second double bedroom has a white iron double bed, and the third double bedroom has a light white framed bed and white furniture. The bathroom and the shower room on this floor are very elegant and gleaming white. Plenty of towels and all bed linen are provided.

GARDEN COTTAGE
At the other end of the garden is a recently renovated garden cottage, which contains an open plan kitchen/diner with a comfortable sitting area. A well stocked kitchen has a cooker and fridge freezer, and all the cooking utensils and plates/glassware. A smart sofa, soft rug and a round coffee table match up well with the elegant sand coloured stone floor, and an antique dinner table for six. This space also has a TV/ DVD player, and is decorated with a few attractive paintings.
The cottage
A striking wrought iron spiral staircase leads to the wooden gallery which has an iron double bed and a sky light window. The galleried bedroom is surrounded by an elegant iron banister. The cottage also has a shower room with a WC. Outside the cottage is a small herb garden and a wonderful summer kitchen, covered with a tiled roof. The barbecue and sink are in the summer kitchen, which is open towards the garden and the pool. The views from the cottage are enchanting, encompassing the pool, the sea at the doorstep and an ancient Franciscan monastery.

The villa has a garden at the back, which is partially tiled with the local stone. The planted areas contain vines, rosemary, lavender, geraniums and also organic peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, salad leaves, basil and various kitchen herbs.
Pool
The villa has a super pool with steps. The pool is positioned between the main house and the cottage, and has sun beds on the stone paved deck. The pool sunbathing area has a lovely view of the sea and the village church.

Terraces
The cottage has a small intimate terrace surrounded by greenery. It is covered, and contains an outdoor dining table. Under the roof is a whole summer kitchen with a large open stone fireplace for barbecues and other types of outdoor cooking. A second terrace is close to the main house and also contains a cooking area with a sink, and another outdoor dining table. The terraces have terracotta pots planted with olive and lemon trees and the whole garden and terrace area is very inviting.

BOATING
Small boats can be hired from the main coastal towns and resorts. The coastline and inshore islands are ideal for exploring by small boat. To hire a motor boat you will require an appropriate licence or you will need to hire a skipper. For more information visit our Charter page.
