Fifteen charming beachside villas on the island of Ugljan, near the famous Kornati Islands, Northern Dalmatia, Croatia. The villas are built overlooking a secluded beach, each has a swimming pool, and is air conditioned. The villas are suitable for individual bookings for 6-8 people, or for larger groups up to 104 people.

The design of the villas is based on traditional Dalmatian fishing cottages, combined with contemporary interior design. The villas are built on neighbouring plots, each with their own private garden and swimming pool and the sea view. Each villa has three double bedrooms and three bathrooms, and is furnished with Italian and French furniture. Villas are distinguished by their individual colour scheme inside. Short path leads down to the secluded beach.

UGLJAN

Ugljan is the closest island to the mainland town of Zadar, and it is connected with Zadar with many ferryboat lines. The characteristic feature of Ugljan, known as the green island, is the stunning dense bush and pine tree forests, olive-groves, fig gardens, vineyards and other Mediterranean vegetation. Generations of local people have been involved with sea, seamanship and fishery. 2000 years of tradition in olive growing means now that there are thousands of olive trees that produce oil of extraordinary quality.The island is composed of fishing villages and pretty secluded coves and is abundant in a rich undersea world.

ACCOMMODATION

Each villa has a very similar internal layout with three bedrooms and three underfloor -heated bathrooms as described below. There are also two larger villas with 4 bedrooms sleeping 8 to 10 persons.

Ground Floor. Ground floor is a spacious cool open plan space with a modern sleek kitchen and a large living room and dining area. Satellite TV/DVD and music centre is available in the living rooms, from which three large French doors lead out on to sunny patios, lawns and pools surrounded by deck chairs and sun loungers. The kitchens include all electrical appliances, such as dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and a coffee machine as well as plenty of cooking equipment, plates, glasses and cutlery. There is also a double bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor. The stair case leads down to the basement which provides plenty of storage place, and up to the first floor, where there are two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.

First Floor. Two bedrooms are reached from the first floor landing. The bedrooms overlook the sea. Both bedrooms are furnished with twin beds. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom or shower room.

A three bedroom villa with three bathrooms sleeping 6 or 8 persons with the use of the sofa bed in the living room. There are two twin bedrooms and one double bed bedroom. On the ground floor there is a large, open plan kitchen/dining area/ sitting room, with French windows opening onto a terrace, private garden and pool. The villa has been equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player, Hi-fi, a direct telephone line and Internet connection. From the garden, a pathway leads just a minute walk to a lovely secluded and private beach and seaside walks.

Outside the villa has a shaded terrace adjoining the house for dining and relaxing and a gazebo with a barbecue and dining area. There is plenty of room for sunbathing around the pool. the garden is nicely planted with lawns, shrubs and trees. There is also a parking space for up to two cars.

VILLA OLIVIA

Villa Olivia sleeps 6 to 8 people in three double bedrooms and three bathrooms. The ground floor open plan living area is decorated in a country style with terracotta floor tiles. There is a large, white kitchen/dining area, with French windows opening onto the covered part of a private garden with garden furniture, which leads to the private outdoor pool. The villa has been equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player. In the garden there is plenty of room for sunbathing and a barbecue for the exclusive use of guests. From the garden, a pathway leads just a minute walk to a lovely beach.

Services

The price includes weakly cleaning and change of towels, pool and garden maintenance. Bedlinen is changed weekly and plenty of towels are provided.

BOAT TRIPS and BOAT HIRE

A visit to the world famous Kornati islands is highly recommended. You can swim there in one of the quiet unspoilt bays with azure water so clear that you can see the sand on the sea bed. All water sports are provided there also – sailing, water skiing, scuba-diving, fishing.

Boat hire and skippered excursions are available locally; please enquire.

RATES AND AVAILABILITY

All rates are quoted per week for the whole villa and are in Euros. Tourist tax is included in the price. There is a 100 euro refundable damage deposit payable to the owner on arrival. We can offer discounts for bookings of a month or longer. Some villas allow pets. Please enquire.
