Overview
Sunray House is located on Hvar island in a quaint village where fishing boats still catch fish every day for a living. It is a pretty, low key, tranquil place of just 400 inhabitants, where you come to recharge your batteries. They welcome holiday guests there and offer them their fresh fish, virgin olive oil and locally made wines. There is a small hotel and a few restaurants, cafes, bars, ice cream and pizza shops. The climate is mild, and beaches lovely, air clean and full of the scent of dried herbs. You can tie up your boat right in front of the house, enjoying leisurely boating and sea views. The villa is surrounded by the sea on three sides and just a few metres from the sea. It was built in the 19th century, and now it is still unchanged outside, but provides a beautiful, modern and comfortable dwelling inside. To the local shops and cafes in Sucuraj its just about 500 metres.
Accommodation
The accommodation consists of a keeper's house and an integrated lighthouse tower, in all 150 square metres of living space. It also includes an outdoor summer kitchen, whirlpool, and a helicopter pad!
Ground floor
A wood floored sitting room is fresh and modern, with chocolate leather sofas, armchairs, an open fireplace, satellite TV and direct access to the garden, the outdoor terrace, and of course, the sea lapping the shore. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas/electric cooker, dishwasher, all the cooking utensils and nice tableware. Two bedrooms and two shower rooms are also on the ground floor, with bed linen and towels provided. In the light tower there are two more double bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has twin beds.
Outside
The villa has its own walled garden, including a vegetable garden. A beautiful outdoor terrace faces the sea with quite an unforgettable view, where you can relax and dine under the stars or sunbathe and gaze at the blue Adriatic. A path leads down to the beach just a few steps away. There is an outdoor covered terrace with a large stone BBQ for serious grilling.
