Outdoor Terrace
Villa Vanya is a very old village stone house which used to be a grain and wine store for the family who lived in the Big House next door. It is a spacious cottage-style villa, comprising of 100 square metres, and set out on three floors, which are linked by an attractive solid wood and wrought iron indoor staircase. You can enter the villa on two sides, as it has a corner position on the village street on one side, and village steps leading to the beach on the other side. The "steps" doorway leads you into the ground floor, and the “street” doorway into the second floor living room. The villa has completely retained its original size and architectural features. Since it used to be just a storehouse, in some parts of the ground floor the original owners did not bother to remove the rocks into which the basement (ground floor) was built. You can still see those rocks as part of the dining room walls. The villa is on an elevated position and has great sea views form its second floor sitting room. It is a two minute walk from the beach and some of the best restaurants in southern Dalmatia.
ACCOMMODATION
Ground floor
Ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, gas cooker and a dishwasher. All the cooking utensils are provided. Next to the kitchen is a large dining room with an antique dining table and chairs. In addition, this room has a fold out sofa where two people can sleep if necessary. From the dining room, a door opens onto a stone-paved terrace. The terrace e is surrounded by a stone wall and wrought iron fence, and a border of rosemary bushes. Here there is a wooden table for six, where you can relax under a shade provided by a grape vine which provides a green natural cover and shade. This terrace is ideal for alfresco dining. The villa has high speed Wi-Fi.

There is a double bedroom, with a 160cm wide bed and a small dressing room, which can also be used as a sleeping space for a child. The bathroom contains a large modern shower, and also a washing machine.

The second floor contains a pleasant large living room, maximising the view over the sea and harbour. A good quality fold out sofa is great as seating, but also transforms into an extra double bed. A small shower room is also on this floor. The living room contains TV and ADSL internet.

OUTSIDE
The villa has a small stone-paved patio with vine pergola, and Mediterranean greenery. It is set behind stone wall with and additional wrought iron fence. A wooden table and chairs for six persons are on this shady terrace.
