Visnjan travel guide

Quiet village with some excellent restaurants and views across open countryside to the Adriatic
Visnjan is a quiet town about 13km inland from the coastal town of Porec but being on higher ground has panoramic views to the sea. The community has a history extending to ancient times and the local churches have some interesting 16th century frescoes. Local restaurants make the most of the excellent local wines and the produce from the region. Visnjan is well placed to explore both the interior of Istria and the coastal towns.
