OVERVIEW

The olive and wine growing already existed there in the ancient times, when this area of Croatia was a part of the Roman Empire. The influence of Italy is felt in the delicious local cuisine based on fresh vegetables, fish, meat and home-made pasta and tasty sauces. The local wines are delicious - try the white malvasia or red terans and merlots. In the 16th and 17th century, Venetians ruled in Istria and this has resulted in the beautiful Venetian palaces, grand houses and homely farms scattered everywhere. The nearest city is Rovinj (or Rovini in Italian) which is one of the most beautiful towns in the whole of Croatia. Jutting into the sea and built on a little peninsula, this town is a mini Venice, abounding in great restaurants, attractive cafes, beach bars, shops, art galleries and many events. At sunset, the whole of Rovinj turns into gold, bathed in sunshine. Houses and streets become the colour of honey. There are many antique and art shops in the old town. The beaches are blue flag, the sea is crystal clear and safe to swim in. Take a boat trip to see the dolphins, visit the Istralandia aqua park, drive 30 minutes to see the Roman amphitheatre in Pula, visit the Brioni islands national park.  In the vicinity of this luxury family villa with pool there are numerous outdoor activities, such as water sports, riding, hiking, bicycling, golf 40 min away, country trails… visits to wineries… Return at sunsets and enjoy a relaxed dinner in the Rovinj harbour. This luxury private family villa with pool in Rovinj countryside is built on three levels. The lower level deals with healthy life style and entertainment. The ground floor comprises a huge living area and the first floor has three divine bedrooms with bathrooms. The villa has a good deal of privacy as it is completely surrounded by a green hedge. Modern facilities are WiFi, air-conditioning throughout, many TV sets, and you have fantastically comfortable beds with excellent bed linen.

ACCOMMODATION

Lower floor

Here you will find the wellness rooms, gym, sauna, shower, indoor Jacuzzi, pool table, wine bar and a picture gallery. How lovely to be able to keep active and fit, and also have your own private entertainment bar - even in winter time this villa will keep you in luxury!

Ground floor

The elegant and very spacious ground floor living area comprises a modern kitchen fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, high quality cooking utensils and tableware. The stunning sitting room is separated from the dining area with a tastefully stone-clad partial wall which has a built in fireplace. In the sitting room two pale sofas provide ample seating, facing the wall mounted TV. A library contains the works of Croatian writers translated into English, German, French and other languages. The dining room is on the other side of the fireplace where a large dining table has ten comfortable upholstered dining chairs. Large glass windows stretch from floor to ceiling, a very grand place full of light. The villa also provides a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.

In addition, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, own TV and direct access to the garden patio is also on the ground floor.

First floor

Stairs on one side of the living room lead to the first floor. The first floor comprises three spacious luxury double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a large shared balcony with lovely village views. Stylish outdoor furniture is on the balcony. The bedrooms are an example of calm, understated, elegant comfort with top quality bed linen and plenty of towels. Each bedroom has a TV and is air-conditioned.

OUTSIDE

Arriving to the front lawn with a circular drive way, you are struck by the stone beauty of the house. In the large, secluded back garden the guests will be able to have fun on their private mini golf course. The super large private pool of 50 square metres will keep you fit, and the outdoor kitchen with dining area and a barbecue will gather everyone around for socialising and relaxing. Around the pool, there are six high quality sun loungers, parasols, other relaxing chairs and beds and an outdoor sofa with a coffee table.
