OVERVIEW
As you arrive at your villa you will be met with a sight which will live in your memory. The little old beach hut has been given a loving, luxurious makeover and hides in a wild Adriatic garden which is surrounded by white pebbles lapped by the bluest Adriatic sea which is just 2 metres away. The pine trees sway in the gentle breeze and provide sufficient summer shade, the sea splashes its relaxing beat, and most of the time it is a vast, blue, calm, glass-like still water, inviting you for a swim at the end of the garden path. The village is very charming with private homes and holiday villas mingling amongst the Mediterranean greenery, all essential shops are there, a few restaurants, plenty of walking and cycling paths, public tennis courts and water sports, many beaches. The main town of Supetar is 2km away ( just over a mile) and many pretty villages and towns are a must to visit - Milna, Postira, Sumartin, Sutivan, Bol…Take the ferry to Split on the mainland, you will be amazed by its rich history which includes the UNESCO site of the Roman emperor Diocletian's Palace, 1300 years old. Split is also a gourmet city and great for shopping and night life.
Villa Beach Garden was originally built in 1815 as a fishing hut and renovated in 2013 to provide a modern, up to date luxury beach holiday home with WiFi, air conditioning, TV and a fully equipped kitchen. It is a paradise for four people plus a small child, be it a family or just adults. It is stylish and comfortable inside, sits on the beach and is a perfect spot from where to explore the beauties of Brac Island and the mainland. There is no pool, but who needs it? The sea in Croatia is warm, safe and clean, crystal clear, made for splashing and snorkeling.
ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation is all on the ground floor as the villa is a single storey cottage, attached at one end to a similar, renovated, small beach property. The sitting room is bright, with plenty of sofas and large windows which open out into the garden with sea view. The dining table sits five people and the kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooker, hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, cooking utensils and tableware. There is even an indoor barbecue! The kitchen and the two bedrooms retain the original exposed stone walls and wooden beams, a beautiful rustic twist in this charming villa. A hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also provided.
On the ground floor there are also two double bedrooms with king size double beds, wardrobes and two shower rooms, one of which contains a washing machine. All the bed linen, bath towels and beach towels are provided. On request, the villa provides a baby chair and cot. If a fifth bed is needed, an accessory bed can be arranged on request.
OUTSIDE
On this magical 1000 square metre garden plot, you will truly appreciate the unique location of the seafront villa Beach Garden. There are many different areas, hidden paths, Mediterranean bushes and herbs, majestic Mediterranean pine trees, and a large terrace where there is an inviting L-shape striped sofa and an outdoor dining table. You can spend many hours lost in reverie or relaxing with friends and family, looking at the marvellous sight in front of you and listening to the soporific sound of the sea. This covered area extends into the summer kitchen with an outdoor sink and a large, stone built barbecue. In addition, the garden has six sun beds and is strewn with hammocks, additional sitting areas with stone hewn tables and chairs hidden among cypresses, oleanders and olive trees. There is enough space for the children to play and sufficient parking for 2 cars. The garden is surrounded by a low wall and its gate opens out directly onto the beach.
