Krk is easily reached by road bridge from the mainland.
Rijeka airport is located on the northern part of Krk island and it is possible to fly directly to Krk island. A taxi from the airport to the town of Krk will be around €50, to Malinska €33 and Baska €78.
If you are travelling by car the road bridge makes access to the island very straightforward. The bridge is 165km from Zagreb (one hour 45 minutes' drive) and the easiest island to reach from the capital.
