Overview

Apartment Baretta with private heated swimming pool is located just outside the walls of the Old Town of Dubrovnik, a rare find. The Buza gate is only 350 metres from the apartment and is the entrance to the Old Town from the north side. A further 200 metres along the way is the Dubrovnik cable car which takes you up to Mount Srd. You will be greeted by breathtaking views over the Old Town of Dubrovnik and the Adriatic Sea. Whether you are interested in culture and history or rather want to delve into water sports and boat excursions, Dubrovnik is the perfect place to experience all of it.

Accommodation

Living areas

The sitting, dining room and kitchen area is spacious. The open plan arrangement leads out onto a garden terrace at the back, whilst having great view of Dubrovnik in the front. Stone coloured floor tiles have a cool effect, with smart, dark leather sofas and armchairs completing the look. A satellite LCD TV and a WiFi are provided. A glass topped dining table can sit 5-6 people comfortably. The kitchen is modern and white, including all the equipment such as fridge/freezer, electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker, washing machine, iron, ironing board and a hair drier. It opens out onto a leafy garden at the back of the villa. All the cooking utensils, plates, glasses and cutlery are provided.

Bedrooms and shower room

There are two double bedrooms, both with double beds, large wardrobes, wooden flooring and a direct access to a wonderful balcony in each bedroom. All the bed linen and towels are provided. The two bedrooms share a nicely tiled and bright bathroom with a shower.

Outside

It is a great luxury to have so much garden space and a swimming pool in the heart of Dubrovnik. This apartment has a back terrace which is level with the kitchen, with a grass lawn, stone patio filled with plant pots, and a BBQ plus outdoor table and chairs for the al fresco dining. In the front of the villa there is a garden with a heated swimming pool and a sunbathing terrace with sun beds and umbrellas.

Additional Information

The pool temperature is set to 25C/77F and cannot be changed by guests. The pool heater will not function when the air temperature is at or below 15C/59F.

We were two couples sharing and we worried about having just one bathroom to share - however there is a second toilet adjacent to the BBQ area and an outside shower with hot and cold water - so we had no problem at all . ”

Fantastic Apartment! The rooms are spacious, modern and clean
“ The property is well located, just a short walk down the steps from the old town. The outside space by the pool and BBQ area is fantastic and we enjoyed several BBQs during our stay. Inside, the rooms are spacious, modern and clean, with excellent kitchen equipment provided. Clean, fluffy white towels were provided and changed mid-week, as well as the provision of pool towels and a tea towel which was a nice touch!
Excellent place, I would recommend it, and would definitely stay there again should we return to Dubrovnik. ”

Dubrovnik Airport

Dubrovnik Airport is located near the town of Cavtat 19km to the south of Dubrovnik. There are direct flights to Dubrovnik from most European countries and from Philadelphia in the USA.

 

There are bus and taxi services into Dubrovnik centre. A taxi transfer can be expected to cost around 35 to 40 euro one way depending on the time of day and the season and a minibus around 50-60 euros.   A shuttle bus service from the airport to Dubrovnik is 7.5 euro per person each way.
