The stately palazzos, squares, churches and stone houses of Korcula town were built with the wealth brought in via the ancient Silk Road, seafaring and fishing, It is such a pleasure walking through the narrow cobbled streets of Korcula town, glimpsing the sea through the shady alleyways with purple bougainvillea adding a touch of natural glamour. Numerous restaurants and cafes squeeze in between the houses and along the sea promenade. Here are jewellery shops, silk and lace boutiques, bars, sea food restaurants, pizza and ice cream parlours, museums, markets, and in the summer you can watch the traditional male sword dance called Moreska, romantically recalling the olden days of warriors and pirates.
Luxury private family villa Beach Life Korcula has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a gym and a study and is located in a peaceful village 5km away from the town of Korcula, and only 10 metres from the beach. A very large living space of 420 square meters is charming and perfect for a relaxing holiday by the sea, which you can enjoy from the early morning to late at night. The villa has private parking just outside and also a private mooring. The whole place is air-conditioned and has WiFi, DVD, sound system, safe.
ACCOMMODATION
Ground floor
The spacious ground floor has two double bedrooms with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms, a TV room and a wine room, stocked with bottles of excellent local white, red and rose wine. One of the bedrooms as an ensuite shower and the other one has an ensuite bath tub and shower. Excellent bedlinen and plenty of towels are provided.
First floor
On the first floor is a bright, large living room with plenty of cosy sofas and armchairs to relax on. It is a beautiful mix of rustic and modern, a living room stylish and comfortable, with a stunning view of the sea and the beach, and direct access to a covered terrace. The dining table with its beautiful chairs sits eight to ten people, and two unique, rustic standard lamps complete the eclectic and inviting style of the living room. The kitchen gives a modern tone to this open living, with a line of cream units and a smart, wooden breakfast bar/island with four bar stools. There are kitchen utensils, tableware, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, kettle, espresso coffee machine, juicer, mixer and blender. In addition, the villa has an iron, ironing board, washing machine and a tumble dryer, and a hair dryer. On the first floor there is a gym, where you can be if you are not swimming in that fabulous sea!
Second floor
The second floor has space for two double bedrooms with super king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms and a separate study/office with a sofabed and a desk.
OUTSIDE
The plot of this luxury villa with private heated pool comprises 1500 square metres and is occupied by the most wonderful Mediterranean garden and a magnificent heated infinity pool. The garden borders directly on the beach which is perfect for swimming and snorkelling as the sea is just 10 metres away! At the beach end of the beautiful garden is a huge semi-circular stone bench which can accommodate up to twenty people. In that part of the garden there is also a large barbecue where you can barbecue and enjoy socialising with the guests sipping their evening cocktails. Nearby is a dining table with benches, seating eight people comfortably. Around the pool there are eight sun loungers with pool towels and several parasols as well as the pool shower.
