OVERVIEW
Villa Ariel is a handsome, rustic stone house with a large garden and private pool, located on a quiet country road a few minutes north of Orebic, one of the most charming and versatile seaside towns in the area. Behind the villa is a nature treck to the majestic St Elias mountain, and within easy reach are several amazing beaches of Orebic. The spacious villa (150 square metres) is designed to give you peace, rest and relaxation and is close to action and amenities of Orebic and along the Peljesac peninsula, which is an area of great natural beauty, sandy beaches and great vineries. Orebic is full of shops and restaurants, seaside cafes and watersports. The pebble beach is very family friendly, with shallow sea, sandy sea floor and beach cafes. Teenagers will feel really happy there and can safely roam around by themselves. As day trips we recommend Dubrovnik, Ston and Mali Ston, Neretva river safari, Korcula and Mljet islands.
Accommodation
The villa is walled and gated, several cars can park in the front yard. The rustic, solid oak furniture made by local craftsmen is used throughout the villa.
Ground floor
The kitchen and a living room are located on the ground floor. Thick walls keep the villa cool, but there is individual air conditioning in the sitting room which also has a fireplace, comfortable sofa and a TV/DVD/CD player plus WiFi connection. The dining table sits easily 8-10 people. In the kitchen there is a fridge, freezer, cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker and all the utensils and tableware. A guest toilet is also on this floor.
First floor
The first floor comprises two large bedrooms, both with wardrobes. The first bedroom has three single beds and the second bedroom has a double bed which can be separated into two singles. The bedrooms share a shower room. From the first floor hallway there is access to the pool and pool terrace, a fully equipped outside kitchen, a barbecue and an outdoor dining area. In this laid back and luxurious villa you will want to socialise and take most of your meals outdoors, enjoying the sea view.
Second floor
The second floor also has two bedrooms. One triple bedroom which has a double and a single bed, and one double bedroom, with a double bed. All bedrooms are simply furnished with rustic beds, and some have TVs. The bedrooms share a shower room. All the bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside
The large Mediterranean garden of this villa spreads over approx. 1600 square metres and has all the wow factor you need. The beautiful pool measures 8.5 by 4 metres and is surrounded by eight sunbeds, an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, outdoor dining table and a shaded area under which there are wicker armchairs and a second table, so there are many places to sit. Right here is also a hot Jacuzzi-whirlpool. Steps lead down to another garden level, where there are children's slide and swing, more sitting areas, flowers, orange and palm trees and scented herbs.
The gym is located in an outdoor building in the garden, and also there is a shower room with a toilet.
