It is recently renovated and located on a top floor of a stone villa in a beautiful part of Dubrovnik, with views of the sea and city, and just a 15 min walk from the famous Old Town. After enjoying a vibrant evening and a stunning cocktail in one of Dubrovnik’s many bars, you will return to your tranquil apartment and enjoy relaxing on a lovely balcony. As there is no lift, you will need to climb three flights of stairs but it is worth it for the amazing view. Should you be staying longer, do venture further afield tp visit lovely Cavtat town by taxi boat, or the Elafite islands (privately or on a ferry), and sample some great local wines such as Dingach and Posip, in your local wineries on Peljesac peninsula. In the summer, there are festivals of culture, music, drama, street shows. In the low season, things are more relaxed, but still there are town fetes and events going on. There is always great food for seafood lovers, and it's easy to have a generally healthy Mediterranean diet. The sea is gorgeous and unpolluted, so sporty types can enjoy a variety of water sports including kayaking, windsurfing, boating, scuba diving, water skiing or just swimming.
Your nearest beach is Bellevue beach just 5 minutes' walk away, and a bus stop for the Old Town is 5 minutes walk as well.
ACCOMMODATION
Dubrovnik rental apartment Luminosa is located on a top floor of a typical Dubrovnik stone house. Fantastic sea views greet you from the sitting room, dining room and bedrooms.
The sitting room is tastefully decorated, with a luscious, warm wooden floor, a comfortable, good quality L-shaped sofa, extra armchairs, some classic furniture and a TV. The beautiful kitchen/diner has stylish stone tiles, a new kitchen, an island, a dining table for 6, fridge-freezer, oven, stove/hob, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils and tableware. There are supermarkets and fresh markets nearby and you will be able to cook at home and enjoy your meal on the shady terrace.
The three cool bedrooms are individually air-conditioned and great for relaxation and a restful sleep. Fresh bedlinen and towels are provided for your stay. Whilst two of the bedrooms have queen beds, the third bedroom has two single beds, great for families and friends. There are wardrobes and good storage. A washing machine, iron, ironing board and a hair dryer are supplied.
OUTSIDE
The large balcony winds around the sitting room and the bedrooms. The ground floor terrace is shaded and has a dining table and a wonderful view of the sea.
