OVERVIEW
This beautiful, authentic, old stone luxury villa is a true Grande Dame of Dubrovnik. It will appeal to those who wish to experience the way of life in Dubrovnik centuries ago aided by modern technology of WiFi and air conditioning. . Thick stone walls, lovely hand carved pillars, shady terraces allow you to live like a Dubrovnik nobleman of the past but you can step out and be straight on the street where all is happening. Inside, the house has been very well modernised and is very relaxing, including air-conditioning and WiFi. This luxury holiday home consists of a four-bedroom main house for 8 guests with four bathrooms (one has a bath tub), and an additional one-bedroom apartment for 2 guests with a private bathroom which is on the grund floor.
The villa is located within Dubrovnik’s Special Car Free area. Arrival by a private car is not possible, as vehicle access is restricted in this area. But you can get there by taxi, which is reasonable to hire. Also, just 350 metres away there is a public car park. However, it is lovely to be so central. Take a leisurely stroll along the old cobbled roads and have a coffee on a sunny city square, visit the fresh market and go and see the fantastic cathedral. Museums, galleries, concerts, medieval palaces and monasteries are all within easy reach. Famous beaches and coffee shops, amazing sea food restaurants, street shows and festivals, it is all happening and you are at the heart of it. Take your beach bag and go to the famous Banje beach, or many more.
Outdoor activities are numerous. Go kayaking, windsurfing, boating, cycling, hiking and sight seeing. Make a trip to the Elafite Islands or visit the famous vineries and seafood restaurants.
Pets are welcome for extra charge. Minimum stay is 3 nights.
ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation comprises the main house with four bedrooms and bathrooms and a separate one bedroom and bathroom apartment. Thus 10 persons can sleep in this old luxury family villa.
Ground floor
On the ground floor you will find the living room with TV and two large, comfortable sofas, offering plenty of relaxing seating for you time together. Linked to the sitting room is a spacious dining space with a large dining table sufficient for 12 people. The modern kitchen is supplied with a fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dish washer, kettle, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and good tableware.
First floor
The internal staircase takes you to two double bedrooms with queen size beds (160 x 200cm) , own balconies and en-suite bathrooms. These comfortable, air-conditioned bedrooms have a lovely view of the iconic hill called Srdj. Plenty of towels and good bed linen are provided.
Second floor
Two more double bedrooms are situated on the second floor and they also have queen size beds and en-suite bathrooms.
OUTSIDE
This luxury holiday home in the centre of the Old Town is a rarity, especially because it has 5 double, air conditioned, bedrooms and outdoor terraces where you can unwind in the midst of the vibrant and busy city. On the two outdoor covered terraces you will find a dining table and a barbecue and separately, a lovely and cosy sitting area with a coffee table.
