Overview
Villa Natasha is a 5 star-rated light and bright new stone-built luxury villa, a five minute walk from the beach. The large and tranquil garden comprises of 2.2 acres (9000 square metres) and is planted with trees that provide summer shade. The villa is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, pine and oak forests and the sea.
The lively town of Umag is just about 10 km from the villa and has a town beach, with other beaches stretching in all directions. It is very popular with families and sports enthusiasts. Mountaineering, caving, cycling, kiting and many more outdoor activities are on offer.
Accommodation
Ground floor
The ground floor comprises of a vast sitting/dining room, kitchen, utility room and a separate WC and a spacious en-suite bedroom. The kitchen is 12 square metres and is very well equipped with a 4-ring cooker, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, blender, toaster, ice maker, grill, iron/ironing board. Good quality cooking utensils, plates and glassware are provided as well as a set of cooking spices. A separate pantry is next to the kitchen. In the utility room there is a washing machine, dryer, storage, iron, ironing board and a sink. The sitting/dining room is an extremely spacious, pleasant and relaxing living space spreading over 53 square metres, itself the size of a two bedroom flat! The cream tiled floor of the sitting room sets off pretty country style sofas and armchairs and a typical, but modern Istrian open fireplace made of stone and wood. Here is a digital satellite TV (DVB-S, DVB-T), a WiFi/ADSL internet, sound system. Books, DVDs, CDs, games are provided. The dining table seats 8-10 people, and the sitting room opens out on two garden terraces - one south facing and the other north facing. One of the four double bedrooms is on the ground floor, opening out onto the airy garden terrace. This bedroom has 35 square metres floor space and its terrace is 15 square metres, a wonderful bedroom to wake up in and having breakfast on the terrace. In addition to the double bed (160 X 200cm) it has a sofa bed and its own satellite TV plus en-suite shower room.
First floor
Three double en-suite bedrooms each with a terrace, are on the first floor. One has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a double and two single beds and can also take a child's cot plus a child's bed (provided), and has a bathroom. The third bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. All the bedrooms have quality wooden floors, and are furnished with white country furniture, with a light and airy summer atmosphere. Some are furnished with solid wood country furniture, giving it the look of an old Istrian farmhouse. Both styles are totally in keeping with the feel of this villa.
Cellar
The villa has an underground cellar which provides extra storage space, and wine storage.
Outside
Garden, Summer Kitchen, Terraces, Hydromassage and Heated Pool
The villa is surrounded by a beautiful large garden, pool and numerous terraces. In all, there are 2.2 acres of garden, completely secured by a rustic stone wall. A lovely mosaic heated swimming pool with hydromassage is sized 8m x 5m (depth 140-170 cm) and is surrounded by a stone-paved sunbathing area with sun beds, and is close to the villa. Pool towels are provided. Many relaxing seating areas are dotted around the garden. You can sit under an old oak tree on wooden benches. Or you can enjoy cooking outside in the fully equipped summer kitchen - typical for how Croatians cook in the summer months. The summer kitchen has an open wood fireplace and grill, gas fired grill and an old farmhouse stone sink. On the covered terrace by the summer kitchen, facing south, is a dining table for ten, and a sunbathing area of 100 square metres. The north garden terrace faces the kitchen herb garden and contains an outdoor table and chairs.
Local Beach
The local beach is within a short walk and is ideal for swimming.
