OVERVIEW
The family villa with pool to rent is located in the heart of the charming seaside village of Liznjan and can accommodate up to eight people. The traditional stone built holiday home has a small but delightful landscaped garden incorporating a heated swimming pool (6.5 m x 4m) and extensive, covered and shaded terraces. With air conditioning, WiFi, underfloor heating and top quality furnishings this spacious holiday home offers the highest standard of comfort. The village is peaceful and relaxing, and a couple of miles away there is vibrant Medulin with numerous restaurants, beach bars and a mile long sandy beach. The Liznjan village beach has cafes, bars and floating platforms for kids. Nearby towns of Pula, Rovinj and Porec, Motovun and Groznjan are easily reached. This is a gourmet area with fabulous sea food and excellent wines and olive oils. The sea is prefect for swiming and snorkelling, and there are aquaparks, horse riding in the sea, adrenaline parks and sailing. Perfect for families with children and sophisticated enough for adults alone. Come and explore this very sunny and leafy part of Croatia also known as Croatian Tuscany, highly recommended!
Accommodation
Ground floor
The accommodation is finished to a high standard throughout. Downstairs floors are all hand cut Brac stone, and first floor bedrooms have parquet floors and en-suite, tiled bathrooms. Heating and air-conditioning can be thermostatically controlled room by room. The hallway and the small sitting room open onto the covered terrace and have a pool view.
The brand new luxury kitchen is fitted with two ovens, electric hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer, a kitchen island with wine refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, smart dinnerware, crockery and a corner dining area with bench seating comfortable for 6 people. The kitchen extends to a charming smaller sitting room reached by two downward steps, with double glass doors opening onto a covered terrace where there is a large outdoor dinng table. This relaxing sitting room has a rattan two seater sofa and two large matching armchairs. The larger, second sitting room (or bedroom 4) has a TV set and a huge L shaped sofa, where 6 to 8 people can sit, even more. The sofa has an in-built high quality double bed with a proper mattress to pull out. There is also a dedicated work area with a desk and chair. All this is designer furiture made in Italy and the style matches the comfort. Off the kitchen there is a utility room with storage space, iron, ironing board, Miele vacuum cleaner and cleaning utensils, going on to the fourth bathroom which has a shower, a toilet and a washing machine..
First floor
A simple stone staircase leads up to the three en-suite, air-conditioned double bedrooms, equipped with excellent bed linen and plenty of towels. The master bedroom has en-suite bathroom with a bath tub and hand-held shower and screen. The double bed is super king size, and there are bedside cabinets and a spacious wardrobe. A double door leads onto the covered balcony with a coffee table and armchairs. There is a charming view of the village, the village church and the sea from this lovely terrace. Next to the master bedroom is a smaller double room with two new single beds and a truckle bed in addition. It has an en-suite shower room with a shower and toilet.
The third bedroom is spacious, located across the coridor and has a new king-size double bed which can be separated into two single beds. En-suite bathroom with hand held shower is reached from the bedroom. From the window there is a pretty sea and countryside view.
Outside
From the barbecue and the dining terrace four steps lead up to the swimming pool (6.5 metres x 4 metres, 1.2 metres deep) and heated. Around the pool there are six sun loungers and a parasol and pool towels are provided. Extra seating is on a smart rattan sofa in the shade. The dining terrace is covered to screen you from the summer sun. Round the pool's sunbathing terrace we have planted oleander trees, plumbago, bouganvillea, laurel, rosemary and lavender, to provide green freshness and colour for your enjoyment.
