OVERVIEW
Villa Zelda is a two-storey villa built with local stone in the traditional village style with pale green shutters, a nice garden, own pool and sunbathing area. Inside, the villa is light and bright with a pleasant beach themed decor of blues, creams and whites with touches of sunshine yellow.
Located at the edge of the fishing village of Liznjan and a short stroll to a local cafe and shop, it is a leisurely 25-30 minute walk to a long sandy beach in Medulin, or just a few minutes drive by car. The local airport, Pula, is just 15 minutes drive away, so these villas combine all the comforts of a good holiday, great location, great accommodation, close to the beach and transport links.
If you love water sports, you are in the right place: wind surfing, scuba diving, kayaking and boating are available locally. You are also close to a horse riding ranch, country bike paths, tennis courts, wellness centre and a gym. The local food is great and it is a child-friendly place, and also good for adults and teenagers.
Accommodation
Ground floor
The open-plan living area consists of a sitting room and a kitchen and dining area. Also on this floor is a utility cupboard with washing machine, a downstairs shower room and a double bedroom. The sitting room has two sofas, a coffee table and a satellite TV/DVD. It also has direct access to the garden and pool area, which makes it a very pleasant room to sit and relax during the daytime and the evening. The kitchen and dining area has underfloor heated stone tiles and is equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas cooker, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, glasses and cutlery. There is also a dining table and chairs. The double bedroom has a comfortable double bed, wardrobe, satellite TV and wood flooring. Across the hallway is the utility cupboard and a separate modern shower room with underfloor heated tiles.
First floor
The first floor is reached by a wooden staircase which leads to a small hallway and two bedrooms, one of which is a double and the other is a twin. The bedrooms have wood flooring, exposed wooden ceiling beams, comfortable beds and pretty lighting. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. These two bedrooms share a bathroom which has a corner bathtub and shower attachment.
Outside
The villa is surrounded by a landscaped walled garden with stone paved terraces, planted with Mediterranean shrubs and herbs and wooden pergolas with climbing plants for shade. On one side is a 22 square metre swimming pool with steps leading into the pool. There are modern sun loungers, a barbecue and an outside dining table with chairs. Great for families.
