This modern, elegant and sunny villa overlooks a sheltered and peaceful bay near the town of Milna on the Island of Brac. The villa is light, bright, airy and spacious, comprising 190 square meters of living space. The stunning villa Asya is designed for outdoor living with terraces and the pool overlooking the sea. The villa is set only about 40 metres back from the shoreline and the beach is 70 metres away.

Luxury villa Asya is located in a quiet bay, two kilometres from the gorgeous harbour town of Milna on the Dalmatian island of Brac, a beautiful unspoilt island close to the mainland and the fascinating city of Split. Milna offers a range of restaurants, cafes and bars, a local farmers market, shops and a supermarket. Inland, there are some charming old villages such as Skrip, nestling between olive groves and vineyards. Sandy and pebbly beaches are everywhere and the spectacular beach Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) in the little town of Bol is thought to be one of the most beautiful in Croatia.

Villa Asya - Brac island

Accommodation

The main villa is arranged on 3 floors.

Ground floor

On the ground floor, levelled with the pool terrace is a very beautiful dining room and kitchen with cool white tiles throughout and large picture windows taking in a truly magnificent sea view. This area has a dining table for 6 and a breakfast bar with two bar stools. From the dining room you walk out onto a 100 square meter sea view terrace, where most people tend to spend the whole day. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with a shower room, bed linen and towels.

First floor

Steps lead to the first floor where there is an attractive sitting room with two sofas and more chairs, sea view and a satellite TV, DVD, CD player and sound system. The sitting room opens out onto a covered balcony where you can sit in privacy and gaze at the blue Adriatic sea with Hvar island in front, surrounded by fresh sea air and scent of pine trees. Here is the second double bedroom, with a shower room.

Second floor

The second floor is in the attic space with a galleried bedroom with two single beds, a TV set with DVD player and 100 films. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and shares a bathroom with the galleried bedroom. A small balcony for this room also has sea views.

Outside

The stunning, focal point of this villa is its large pool, 42 square metres. From the pool there is a fantastic view of the sea and islands. Around the pool all is provided for your sun worship, including pool towels. There is an outdoor shower, four sun loungers, two double sun beds, extra four reclining chairs and a variety of outdoor dining tables and coffee tables. Behind the villa is a barbecue and there is parking for 2 cars. A very short walk to the beach takes you to your reserved sun bathing area with steps to the sea and two sunbeds. The beach is under a minute away from the villa. This villa has its own access to the sea and a private bathing platform to sunbath by the fresh sea sparkling in the sun!

Best Villa we have rented to date. Any issues were dealt with quickly by the owner who lives onsite.

About location:

The view is spectacular, the local restaurant,15 min walk away is very good. There are a few unfinished houses on the track to the
villa which is not so nice to see, but overall, very good.

Milna is the safest harbour on the island of Brac, for centuries welcoming sailors and yachtsmen coming from Split across the sea and now boasting two excellent marinas. It is on the north-west side of the island, 18km from Supetar where the Split ferry lands. The substantial village is centred around a huge bay with a very charming harbour full of yachts and fishing boats. Smart cafes and restaurants line the harbour and there are good bakeries, shops and market. A few minutes away are several beaches you can reach on foot. Typical Mediterranean stone cottages with red roofs give Milna its classical charm, and there is also a Baroque church with paintings of Venetian masters, worth seeing. There are some great villas with pools right in Milna town, and a bit further out of town are the Osibova, Lucica and Duboka Bays where you will find grand new villas perching on the seashore among pine woodland. Nearby Bobovišća village is also great to visit, with new luxurious villas as well. Water sports such as scuba-diving, sailing or fishing are available. In the summer Milna hosts a few summer fetes with song and dancing in the harbour, and a very popular “Fisherman’s Night” where you get traditional local food and music in the streets

Island of Brac

The simplest connection to the island is to fly to Split and take the regular ferry crossings from Split ferry port to Supetar on Brac. The ferry port is a 25 minute drive from Split Airport. The ferry (car or foot passenger) takes 45 minutes and there are regular crossings during the summer. A bus service from Split Airport to the ferry port in Split is also available.

The ferry timetable for the Jadrolinija line from Split to Supetar on the island of Brac can be found on the Jadrolinija website. Cars can be hired at Split Airport. They can also be hired on arrival at Supetar from local firm MB Renta on the harbour front. Scooters and bicycles can also be rented. The local bus company, Autotrans runs buses several times a day between the principal towns on the island. Timetables can be found on the Autotrans website.

There is also a regular car ferry service from Makarska on the mainland directly to Sumartin at the south east end of the island (see Jadrolinija website for sailing schedule and prices). This crossing is convenient if arriving from the direction of Dubrovnik. There is also a passenger ferry service to Brac running four days a week from Split directly to the town of Milna. Details also on the Jadrolinija website.

Brac has its own small airport near the town of Bol. Light aircraft can fly into this airport and there are connections from Split Airport. Information on the Brac airport website.

If travelling to Brac from the Dubrovnik direction it is preferable to take the ferry crossing from Makarska to Sumartin. The service is less frequent than the Split/Supetar crossing and it is essential to check the timetable on the Jadrolinija website.

Split Airport

Split Airport is located to the west of Split close to the town of Trogir. It is 20 minutes drive from the airport to the ferry port in Split.
