This modern, elegant and sunny villa overlooks a sheltered and peaceful bay near the town of Milna on the Island of Brac. The villa is light, bright, airy and spacious, comprising 190 square meters of living space. The stunning villa Asya is designed for outdoor living with terraces and the pool overlooking the sea. The villa is set only about 40 metres back from the shoreline and the beach is 70 metres away.

Luxury villa Asya is located in a quiet bay, two kilometres from the gorgeous harbour town of Milna on the Dalmatian island of Brac, a beautiful unspoilt island close to the mainland and the fascinating city of Split. Milna offers a range of restaurants, cafes and bars, a local farmers market, shops and a supermarket. Inland, there are some charming old villages such as Skrip, nestling between olive groves and vineyards. Sandy and pebbly beaches are everywhere and the spectacular beach Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) in the little town of Bol is thought to be one of the most beautiful in Croatia.

Accommodation

The main villa is arranged on 3 floors.

Ground floor

On the ground floor, levelled with the pool terrace is a very beautiful dining room and kitchen with cool white tiles throughout and large picture windows taking in a truly magnificent sea view. This area has a dining table for 6 and a breakfast bar with two bar stools. From the dining room you walk out onto a 120 square meter sea view terrace, where most people tend to spend the whole day. One part of the terrace has a 20 square metre pergola. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with a shower room, bed linen and towels.

First floor

Steps lead to the first floor where there is an attractive 30 square metre sitting room with two sofas and more chairs, sea view and a satellite TV, DVD, CD player, sound system and a large ceiling fan. The sitting room opens out onto a covered balcony where you can sit in privacy and gaze at the blue Adriatic sea with Hvar island in front, surrounded by fresh sea air and scent of pine trees. Here is the second double bedroom, with a shower room.

Second floor

The second floor is in the attic space with a galleried sitting room with bed, a TV set with DVD player and a huge selections of films. The third bedroom has a double bed and shares a bathroom with the galleried bedroom. A small balcony for this room also has sea views.

Outside

The stunning, focal point of this villa is its large pool, 42 square metres. From the pool there is a fantastic view of the sea and islands. Around the pool all is provided for your sun worship, including pool towels. There is an outdoor shower, four sun loungers, two double sun beds, extra four reclining chairs and a variety of outdoor dining tables and coffee tables. Behind the villa is a barbecue and there is parking for 2 cars. A very short walk to the beach takes you to your reserved sun bathing area with steps to the sea and two sunbeds. The beach is under a minute away from the villa. This villa has its own access to the sea and a private bathing platform to sunbath by the fresh sea sparkling in the sun!

Eine sehr schöne Villa! Fantastische Aussicht! Sehr gute Ausstattung (8 Personen), genug Geschirr, Besteck, Gläser, kleine Apotheke. Genug Platz, viele Bücher, Waschmaschine. Das Schwimmbad auch schön, die Beleuchtung könnte länger eingeschaltet werden. Die Besitzerin ist sehr lieb und wohnt nebenan. War schön!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful and quiet part of Brac. Would defenitely recommend. We will be back.

Beautiful view and fantastic pool. Lots of space for a family of 4. Air-condition in bedrooms was perfect for hot summer nights. Approx 100 metres from water with own private platform for entry, quiet area in nature and very friendly and helpful host who was always able to offer good advice.

The pool was fabulous

The villa was fantastic, the owner prepared all four of us a delicious fish dish on our arrival. The villa's view was terrific. It was quiet and relaxing. The pool was fabulous and sitting outside and looking over the natural harbour was wonderful.

Would highly recommend.

About location:

Liked it being quiet, but easy access by car to local amenities etc.

Brac Island

Brac is the most accessible of the larger Dalmatian islands and there are regular and frequent ferry crossings which makes getting to Brac very straightforward.

The simplest connection to the island is to fly to Split and take the regular ferry crossings from Split ferry port to Supetar on Brac. The ferry port is a 30 minute drive from Split Airport but allow longer in peak periods.

Getting from the airport to the ferry port

You can hire a car at the airport and take it over on the ferry. One advantage of this is that you don't have to manhandle your luggage on to the ferry as a foot passenger.  Alternatively take a taxi to the ferry port.  The approximate cost is 35-40 euro depending on time of travel and 40-50 euro for an 8 seater minibus. There are several bus services that run from the airport terminal to Split main bus station which is next to the ferry port. These leave from right outside the terminal building and include a shuttle service run by Croatia Airlines. Typical cost of a one way bus ticket is around 5.50 euro per person. Local bus service 38 stops on the main road outside the airport and is a 50 minute journey into the centre of Split  It is about half the price of the shuttle services but does not take you as close to the ferry port and is much slower.

Ferries to Brac

The ferry from Split to Brac (car or foot passenger) takes 50 minutes and there are regular crossings during the summer (typically every 90 minutes). The cost of a one way ticket for a car and four adult passengers will be about €40.

The ferry timetable for the Jadrolinija line from Split to Supetar on the island of Brac can be found on the Jadrolinija website.

There is also a regular car ferry service from Makarska on the mainland directly to Sumartin at the south east end of the island (see Jadrolinija website line 638 for sailing schedule and prices). This crossing is convenient if arriving from the direction of Dubrovnik however the service runs only five times a day in peak season and we recommend booking in advance on this line.

There is a fast catamaran ferry service from Milna on Brac to Split on Wednesdays. It departs from Milna  in the morning and returns late afternoon so is convenient for a day trip to Split. Both Jadrolinija (line 9602) and Kapetan Luka run this service. The crossing is 30 minutes. Details also on the respective websites. Around €6.60 with Kapetan Luka and less with Jadrolinija.

Also convenient for day trips to Split is the daily service that departs from Bol in the early morning and returns late afternoon. Line 9603 on the Jadrolinija website. The crossing is one hour 10 minutes.

Transfer by private taxi boat

Private taxi boat transfers from the quay near Split airport to Brac island can be arranged.  Prices will depend on your destination on Brac, the numbers in your party and the time of travel but will typically be in the region of 400-600 euro. Ask us for a quote. Crossing times from 35 to 50 minutes depending on your destination on Brac.

Brac airport ideal for private jets

Brac has its own small airport near the town of Bol. Light aircraft can fly into this airport and there are scheduled passenger flights from Split Airport. Zagreb and Graz in Austria. Information on the Brac airport website.

We can arrange car hire from Split Airport. We can also organize car hire on the island. Scooters and bicycles can also be rented. The local bus company, Arriva, runs buses several times a day between the principal towns on the island. Timetables can be found on the Arriva website.

Split Airport

Split Airport is located to the west of Split close to the town of Trogir. It is 25 minutes drive from the airport to the ferry port in Split although you should allow longer in mid summer.
