The villa complex consists of the main house and a guest house, both single storey buildings with many windows and doors opening out onto terraces, courtyards and the garden. The main house can accommodate six people and the guest house two people. Additional sleeping accomodation can be arranged for one child, if required.

Villa Milna

Main House

All the accommodation, including the bedrooms are on the ground level. The sitting room is tiled in cool stone tiles and furnished with ample sofas and armchairs, decorated in seaside colours of sun and sand. Floor to ceiling doors open out onto the shady terrace with a dining table for 10 persons. Satellite TV/DVD/music system is provided. The villa does not have internet but this is available in the nearby town of Milna.

Bedrooms are arranged as a master suite and a two bedroom suite, in total three bedrooms in the main house. The master suite is a large bedroom with a king size bed, an ensuite shower room, its own sitting area and a doorway to a covered outdoor terrace where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast and relax all day. The two bedroom suite has a queen size bed in one room and a double bed in the other. There is also a shared shower room and a separate WC, as well as a shared veranda.

The guest house has its own private entrance but is within the villa complex. It has a sitting area, with a sofa and a single bed, a satellite TV/DVD/music centre and a terrace facing the sea. It also has it own fully equipped kitchen with a dining table which can sit four people. A staircase leads to an upstairs gallery where there is a double bed and an ensuite shower room.

The villa is built on a small peninsula which extends out from a lovely bay with a pebbly/sandy beach. There is 4000 square metres (one acre) of garden surrounded by a stone wall, which gives you plenty of privacy. The garden is stunning and well planted, and stone steps and paths lead you to a very private beach. The garden has many terraces for resting, dining and sunbathing. There is even a rooftop terrace with luxurious sun loungers and a settee. An amazing pool seems to touch the sea and has a paved sunbathing area with more sun loungers. The garden gate opens out onto the beach on two sides of the garden.

Ecological Villa

The villa has a small environmental footprint with solar power, batteries and a generator for backup. The villa runs off its own energy system, the air conditioning units can run whilst the generator is on but this cannot be run through the night. The villa has ceiling fans in each of the rooms and the house has been specifically designed to remain cool in the summer. High voltage appliances such as a dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryers and air-conditioning can be used when the generator is on.

The villa is part of a solar community designed to respect the nature and beauty of the island and to preserve the environment. It was constructed with natural finishes and local materials, and utilised local resources and craftsmen, helping support local businesses. The villa follows the United Nations World Tourism and other environmental organizations' guidelines for Sustainable and Responsible tourism to promote good environmental practices, support local culture and to preserve Duboka Bay and its surroundings. We ask guests to respect the area and to be environmentally conscientious.

Most perfectly tranquil atmosphere you could imagine. A real hidden treasure!
For Luxurious peace and quiet. My family and I have stayed two years running in Villa Eden. A beautifully laid out house and garden with a swimming pool, leads on to the rocks and straight into the Adriatic. For luxurious peace and quiet and wonderful surroundings, you could not do better. Croatia has the reputation of being very crowded, but here there is total privacy and the most perfectly tranquil atmosphere you could imagine. A real hidden treasure!
A Lovely Villa with Access to the Se
I recently stayed at this beautiful villa near Milna (on the island of Brac) with my family of 4 and another couple of friends with 2 young children. The villa met my expectations in every way: the main house is nicely designed and has 3 bedrooms (the master bedroom is huge!) and air conditioning throughout. There is an annexed cottage (very nicely and recently renovated) where my teenager children slept more than comfortably (it has a bathroom and air conditioning as well!). In the main house, there is a large kitchen with a big wood burning oven, so we enjoyed grilled meals every day.

During the day, we all had fun in the reasonably sized swimming pool which is surrounded by trees and flowers: overall, the grounds are lovely landscaped and nicely manicured. But if that is not enough, there is also a beautiful semi-private beach accessible directly from the property. At night, we ate outdoor in the gorgeous patio overlooking the bay, but our favorite area was the additional elevated, covered terrace where we had drinks and appetizers while admiring the wonderful landscape of the island. The location is just perfect!

Finally, the property owner is attentive and courteous: her charm is just the final cherry to the cake! I have already recommended this property to other friends and family.
S D,
Milna cafe
Milna is the safest harbour on the island of Brac, for centuries welcoming sailors and yachtsmen coming from Split across the sea and now boasting two excellent marinas. It is on the north-west side of the island, 18km from Supetar where the Split ferry lands. The substantial village is centred around a huge bay with a very charming harbour full of yachts and fishing boats. Smart cafes and restaurants line the harbour and there are good bakeries, shops and market. A few minutes away are several beaches you can reach on foot. Typical Mediterranean stone cottages with red roofs give Milna its classical charm, and there is also a Baroque church with paintings of Venetian masters, worth seeing. There are some great villas with pools right in Milna town, and a bit further out of town are the Osibova, Lucica and Duboka Bays where you will find grand new villas perching on the seashore among pine woodland. Nearby Bobovišća village is also great to visit, with new luxurious villas as well. Water sports such as scuba-diving, sailing or fishing are available. In the summer Milna hosts a few summer fetes with song and dancing in the harbour, and a very popular “Fisherman’s Night” where you get traditional local food and music in the streets

Island of Brac

The simplest connection to the island is to fly to Split and take the regular ferry crossings from Split ferry port to Supetar on Brac. The ferry port is a 25 minute drive from Split Airport. The ferry (car or foot passenger) takes 45 minutes and there are regular crossings during the summer. A bus service from Split Airport to the ferry port in Split is also available.

The ferry timetable for the Jadrolinija line from Split to Supetar on the island of Brac can be found on the Jadrolinija website. Cars can be hired at Split Airport. They can also be hired on arrival at Supetar from local firm MB Renta on the harbour front. Scooters and bicycles can also be rented. The local bus company, Autotrans runs buses several times a day between the principal towns on the island. Timetables can be found on the Autotrans website.

There is also a regular car ferry service from Makarska on the mainland directly to Sumartin at the south east end of the island (see Jadrolinija website for sailing schedule and prices). This crossing is convenient if arriving from the direction of Dubrovnik. There is also a passenger ferry service to Brac running four days a week from Split directly to the town of Milna. Details also on the Jadrolinija website.

Brac has its own small airport near the town of Bol. Light aircraft can fly into this airport and there are connections from Split Airport. Information on the Brac airport website.

If travelling to Brac from the Dubrovnik direction it is preferable to take the ferry crossing from Makarska to Sumartin. The service is less frequent than the Split/Supetar crossing and it is essential to check the timetable on the Jadrolinija website.

Split Airport

Split Airport is located to the west of Split close to the town of Trogir. It is 20 minutes drive from the airport to the ferry port in Split.
