OVERVIEW
Sunny Cottage is an immensely charming new stone cottage, built in the traditional Brac way, with green shutters and roof slates painted in white to protect you from the hot sun - the ancient ecological system on Brac Island. Sunny Cottage has 90 square metres of living space, a private pool and a huge garden filled with olive trees. This pet friendly, romantic, country family villa is located 5km from the sea, in peace and privacy. Shops, restaurants, cafes and supermarket are 4.7km away and reached by a gravel road. In total it sleeps 7 people. Perfect for 5-7 friends travelling, as it can have 5 single beds. In this rural holiday home the upstairs is reached by an outside staircase. There is ample parking in the grounds. Pusisca is an amazing, quaint, picture postcard seaside town with white stone villas and seafront cottages, narrow streets and a famous school for stone masons, still skilled to produce gothic carved windows, pillars and facades. Cafes, bars and restaurants are around the harbour and beaches. Explore the whole island of Brac from there.
ACCOMMODATION
Ground floor
The open plan living room has a rustic touch about it, but everything is new and with modern facilities. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, and mixer, coffee machine, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. An iron, ironing board, hair dryer and washing machine are provided. There are a couple of dining tables and in the sitting area there is a smart new yellow sofa which can sleep 2 extra people, also a satellite TV, plus an air conditioning unit. A family shower room is also on this floor.
First floor
The first for has a double and a triple bedroom. All bedrooms have beds which can pull apart as single beds and have air conditioning. The tasteful and peaceful bedrooms have good bed linen and towels are provided.
OUTSIDE
The Sunny Cottage is reached by a gravel road, lined by oleander trees and olive groves, which takes you into the front courtyard with an old oak tree and a marble table and chairs. All around you are olive groves and gently rolling countryside. The cottage has a swimming pool of 21 square metres, a parasol and two sunbeds with pool towels. There is a huge brick barbecue and an outdoor table for dining.
