In a quiet bay on Ciovo, close to historic Trogir, the sea gazing villa Bellezzina stands surrounded by a peaceful garden with green lawns on 3,300 square metres of land. Mediterranean plants and azure blue sea are just 30 metres in front of it. It is simply beautiful. Old Trogir is just 2 km away, replete with markets, excellent restaurants and bags of culture, night life for the young ones and adults and plenty of beaches and places to explore along the shore. In front of the villa there is a beach with the villa's own mooring (suitable for a 20 metre yacht).

Villa Bellezzina - near Trogir and Ciovo


The accommodation is on two floors and in four bedrooms, one is a snigle bedroom. The villa is heated and cooled by solar heating, and there is one air-con unit on the ground floor. Sea view is spectacular.

Ground floor

The ground floor comprises an open plan living room with  sitting and dining areas and a kitchen which is well equipped. There is a gas cooker, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, juicer, mixer, toaster, and excellent cooking utensils and tableware.  In addition, there is a washing machine, ironing board, iron and a hair dryer. The sitting room offers Sat TV LCD, HiFi, CD player, DVD player and WiFi. The sitting room sofa pulls out to provide sleeping for two people.On the ground floor is a double bedroom and a shower room. The ground floor is air-conditioned.

First floor

A wooden staircase leads from the sitting room to the first floor where there are three bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, one has twin beds and the third bedroom has one single bed. These bedrooms share a luxurious shower room and there is a desk in the hallway/study area.


The villa has a gorgeous private garden. Olive trees provide natural shade and Mediterranean herbs release their scent in the garden. An incredible and close view of the sea is right in front of you. The stone terrace has a swimming pool, sun loungers and parasols. On the upper terrace is a covered area for outdoor dining, next to the barbecue. Yet another terrace has a lovely outdoor sofa and chairs for lazy summer moments. The garden is such a fantastic area for relaxing and socialisng. It is walled and excellent for children to play in, whilst a pebbly beach is just outside of the villa! If you are a sailor, moor your boat outside on your private mooring.

Trogir - a medieval town
Walking through the magical streets of Trogir is a wonderful experience. It is an ancient town, laid down according to classical architectural rules from Greek and Roman times. Trogir is a UNESCO world heritage site and regarded as the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic town in Central Europe. In the middle age period Renaissance palaces and houses were built by the Venetian rulers of this area, and they are still there. As you walk through beautiful narrow cobbled streets you can glimpse medieval churches with stone carved doorways, shaded piazzas, Juliet balconies, arched medieval windows with exquisite carved pillars and rosettes. The towns fortifications were established in the 13th and 14th centuries and the principal forts on the seaward side of the town still stand. Today Trogir is a lively tourist destination. Restaurants, simple and sophisticated, cafes and bars are located along a splendid harbour front that is busy day and night as well as in the quiet alleyways and narrow passages of the old town. The waterfront is a constant source of activity with sailing and motor yachts that are cruising the Adriatic passing through.The old town is linked by a small bridge to the island of Ciovo. Ciovo offers the best swimming with, excellent beaches, some very busy, and some wild and deserted. The most popular is Saldun Bay overlooking the Trogir marina. The beach has cafes and restaurants, water sports and diving. Another good beach is Mavarscica, a pebbly bay lined with pine trees. On two small nearby islands, Drvenik Veli and Drvenik Mali, which are easily reached by a boat you can enjoy peaceful sandy beaches.

Split Airport

Split Airport is located to the west of Split close to the town of Trogir. It is 20 minutes drive from the airport to the ferry port in Split.
