From the lovely garden a few steps lead to the shaded terrace of the villa and the entrance to the house.

Ground floor

On the ground floor there is an open plan sitting room with a kitchen, one double bedroom and a shower room. The sitting room area has a parquet flooring covered with rugs, traditional sofas and armchairs and a fireplace. Large picture windows and sliding doors look out onto the garden and pool and let a lot of light in. The kitchen and dining room have cream coloured tiles on the floor. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, all cooking utensils, plates, glassware, and cutlery. In a separate alcove there is a dining table which can sit six persons comfortably.

First floor

A wooden staircase leads to the first floor, where there is a galleried landing. On this floor there are two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub and shower. From the bedrooms there are stunning sea views.

The villa is surrounded by a small garden, well protected and full of lovely Mediterranean plants. Impressive mature palm trees and climbing plants mix with flowers, rosemary and lavender bushes. A very attractive pool with a jacuzzi is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace and sun loungers. It is a real pleasure sunbathing in privacy in this luscious garden and cool pool. And it is a couple of minutes to the beach, where the sea is warm and refreshing for swimming. The villa has a covered terrace along the length of the house, where you can relax in shade and eat al fresco at the outdoor dining table. The barbecue is nearby.

We enjoyed our week in the Villa.
We enjoyed our week in the Villa. The owners were very welcoming with some food and drink left for us on arrival
and a couple of days later some freshly picked figs were left for us. They were very flexible with arrival times,
letting us drop off our bags. Everything was clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked very well and the pool was great to cool off as the weather was very warm.

About location:

There are a few restaurants and basic shops within walking distance and we even managed to avoid hiring a car.
We used the regular water taxis to Trogir a couple of times and hired a speedboat for a day to visit some other
islands. The beach in Seget itself is narrow and was crowded in peak season so we tended to chill out at the villa.

Excellent location, decent property, nice pool walk to beach
This was a family visit but my children are 26 & 28, but I would say a good family property with younger children The property itself is reasonably well equipped and located walking distance to shops, decent restaurants and beach. Note of caution there are a lot of spinney sea urchins so shoes needed to swim. Could do with a decent TV and choice of channels, we ended up buying some cheap DVD's to watch on the occasional evening. We hired a car and the drive in Croatia is very easy. We went on several excursions, the best of which was rafting through the canyons. All in all I would recommend; not cheap and I've no comparisons but we enjoyed our stay, owners were very friendly and helpful as well.

Beautiful villa in excellent location
Our family of 6 adults rented this villa for a week in September. On arrival - even though it was late at night - we were met by the owner and her daughter who showed us around the house and had also left snacks and refreshments for us. What a lovely start to our holiday.

The villa and pool were exactly as described on the websites: in a great location in the quiet village of Seget Vranjica and only five minutes down a path to the seafront. If you walk about 50 yards to the left once you reach the coastal path you can get the waterbus to Trogir. Only 40 Kuna for the return trip and very frequent service - every 90 minutes.

Further along the coastal path there is a large restaurant 'Belvedere'. This is the nearest restaurant to the villa and we enjoyed our dinner there.
There are some very good restaurants at the seafront in Seget Vranjica, and of course in Trogir.
Krka national park is well worth a visit. You would need to allow at least three hours when you get there.
We had a great week at this villa and would certainly recommend it highly.

Trogir - a medieval town
Walking through the magical streets of Trogir is a wonderful experience. It is an ancient town, laid down according to classical architectural rules from Greek and Roman times. Trogir is a UNESCO world heritage site and regarded as the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic town in Central Europe. In the middle age period Renaissance palaces and houses were built by the Venetian rulers of this area, and they are still there. As you walk through beautiful narrow cobbled streets you can glimpse medieval churches with stone carved doorways, shaded piazzas, Juliet balconies, arched medieval windows with exquisite carved pillars and rosettes. The towns fortifications were established in the 13th and 14th centuries and the principal forts on the seaward side of the town still stand. Today Trogir is a lively tourist destination. Restaurants, simple and sophisticated, cafes and bars are located along a splendid harbour front that is busy day and night as well as in the quiet alleyways and narrow passages of the old town. The waterfront is a constant source of activity with sailing and motor yachts that are cruising the Adriatic passing through. The old town is linked by a small bridge to the island of Ciovo. Ciovo offers the best swimming with, excellent beaches, some very busy, and some wild and deserted. The most popular is Saldun Bay overlooking the Trogir marina. The beach has cafes and restaurants, water sports and diving. Another good beach is Mavarscica, a pebbly bay lined with pine trees. On two small nearby islands, Drvenik Veli and Drvenik Mali, which are easily reached by a boat you can enjoy peaceful sandy beaches.

Split Airport

Split Airport is located to the west of Split close to the town of Trogir. It is 20 minutes drive from the airport to the ferry port in Split.
