OVERVIEW
Luxury Villa Ocean View on the island of Hvar, four kilometres from Hvar town, is a true beachfront villa resembling a vast beach house. The modern, sprawling villa occupies a pine sheltered position above a small pebbly beach with a private jetty to moor your boat. The sea is fantastically clear and warm to swim in. This luxurious Hvar holiday home blends in with nature and is very restful. Its stone walls and numerous discrete terraces mimic the curve of the bay, rocks, pebbles and sand. The immediate approach to the villa is downhill along an unsurfaced half a mile stretch of road, but to compensate for that, you have good privacy and are neighboured by five other exclusive villas hidden in the trees and scattered apart. Family Villa Ocean View has WiFi and air-conditioning throughout. The villa comfortably sleeps 12 people.
The whole concept of this special villa is its emphasis on the outdoor life by the sea. There are more sofas outside than inside!
ACCOMMODATION
This luxury family villa is built on two levels and has a separate studio apartment which is rented together with the house. The villa provides a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The owner/manager lives nearby and is available whenever needed.
Ground floor
The ground floor comprises two double bedrooms, one of which (bedroom 4) has an ensuite shower room and TV, a mini-kitchen, a dining area and a space for an extra single bed in the bedroom. The other ensuite bedroom (bedroom 5) has a shower room and can accept a third bed if needed. These bedrooms have direct access to the terraces overlooking the sea. On a lower level is a separate studio (bedroom 6) which opens onto the seafront jetty and has a double bed and a shower room.
First floor
The main living quarters and three double bedrooms are on the first floor where you get fantastic views of the sea. The large, luxurious open plan living area is very bright as the sun streams in through many large windows. There is a sitting room with a sofa and other seating, TV, WiFi and an adjoining dining area which has a dining table for fourteen people and a stone barbecue. The kitchen is very well equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker and hob, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils and good quality crockery and cutlery. All these spaces open out onto a very large, covered and relaxing terrace with plenty of seating, so there is a feeling of outdoor/indoor merging into one great hedonistic place with ocean and beach in front.
The cloak/shower room is shared by the bedrooms.

OUTSIDE
The villa has a terraced, Mediterranean garden where you can smell the pine trees and the sea. The garden is dotted with several terraces cascading down to the sea, which invite you to socialise in the sunshine or the shade. Equally, you will have special memories of your candle lit evenings whilst you listen to the gentle lapping of the sea and enjoying excellent local wine with your family and friends. There is a barbecue and the outdoor dining table seats a large group.
We can say that the villas beach is almost a part of your outdoors. You are so close to the beach that it feels you are floating on the sea.
Taxi boats can wizz you directly from your private jetty to the Riva in the heart of Hvar town where you can disembark right outside the acclaimed Gariful restaurant or across to the peaceful Pakleni islands for lunch at the magical Meneghello restuarant.
