OVERVIEW
Hvar is, officially, one of the most beautiful islands in the world, and the sunniest island in Croatia! There is so much sunshine, lavender, grapes and olive trees on the island. This beautiful, modern, sprawling villa was built in 2015 on a huge slice of scenic and fragrant countryside, just 2km from a stunning, uncrowded beach. The Luxury Villa Estate of Hvar spreads over 22 acres of Mediterranean countryside. In the privacy and the fresh sea air, this very upmarket, modern, private villa blends in effortlessly into the island landscape and welcomes you to experience the best of Hvar- its green, lush nature, complete privacy and freedom to explore the famous towns of Hvar, Jelsa and Stari Grad with their culinary and cultural delights. Excellent 400 square metres of air-conditioned living space, a wrap around terrace, a large pool, bowling strip and a tennis court complete your luxurious accommodation experience. A few minutes' drive takes you to the many local beaches with incredibly crystal clear sea.
Accommodation
All accommodation is on the ground floor and basement. The main house has 4 en-suite bedrooms. A separate studio cottage has the fifth bedroom suite which also includes a kitchen.
Ground floor
The ground floor comprises an open plan living zone with a sleek, Italian kitchen completely equipped for a gourmet cook. There is a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, cooking utensils and tableware. The indoor dining table sits 8 to 10 people. Just outside of the kitchen there is a covered terrace with an outdoor dining table, which can easily sit 10 people, and here is where you will want to eat most of your meals! The sitting area has a large designer sofa and everything for your entertainment: large LCD TV, DVD and CD players. From here there are beautiful views of the pool and the nature estate, and glimpses of the shining sea. On the ground floor there are three double bedrooms which all have own bathrooms, TV sets, safes and direct access to their terraces. Fresh classy bed linen and towels are provided.
Basement and spa
From the main living area a staircase leads down to the basement which houses a spa with a whirlpool and massage table, fully equipped gym, sauna, WC, small wine cellar and a special room for parties and socialising, locally known as "konoba", a very traditional basement party room in Croatian farmhouses. There is another double bedroom here, with a toilet and its own separate entrance. A separate studio apartment is located down a garden path, which consists of a double bedroom, kitchen, shower room, TV, safe, its own outdoor terrace with seating.
Outside
The whole point of staying at the Luxury Villa Hvar Estate is to luxuriate in the glorious private outdoors and the freshest sea and pine air. A wonderful covered terrace has a large, specially built barbecue, a mini-bar and fabulous sofas and armchairs. Whether you are a fan of cocktails or of the invigorating Hvar herbal teas and yoga, you will spend hours there recharging your batteries. A large swimming pool (10 by 6 metres, 1.7 metre deep) is surrounded by 8 sunbeds and different armchairs, 4 parasols, and an outdoor shower. Stone paved paths lead you to the tennis court which is lit for night time games. The garden also has a children's play area.
