OVERVIEW
This chic and modern villa is located just 6km northwest of Makarska, which is well known for its palm-fringed promenade lined with cafes, bars and restaurants overlooking the pretty harbour. The Franciscan monastery was built in 1614 and is one of the main tourist attractions in Makarska. Particularly interesting is a visit to the Malacological museum in the basement of the monastery, which has the world's largest collection of molluscs.
Promajna beach is just a short stroll from the house. The lovely pebble beach stretches 650 metres along the coast and features shaded seating areas. The shallow sea with crystal clear water is a great place to take your kids. You won't fall short of ideas for outdoor activities as there is so much on offer in the region. What about a day out to the Skywalk Biokovo combined with white water rafting, or kayaking along the beautiful Makarska Riviera? Or maybe you just want to explore the coast with a skippered sailing boat. The offers are endless.
Villa Carnevale I can be rented together with its sister villa Carnevale II, and altogether they will sleep 16 guests.
ACCOMMODATION
The holiday home is fully air-conditioned and arranged over four levels and there are terraces and balconies on every floor.
Lower ground floor
The lower ground floor comprises an ensuite double bedroom with TV and terrace access, and the wellness-spa area with gym, sauna and shower facility.
Ground floor
Modern and minimalist design define the generous open plan living space with large glass doors opening out to the terrace next to the pool. There is even a desk space for those times when you really need to work. The open plan living area is tiled throughout and offers comfortable seating, large TV and free WiFi access, dinner table for eight guests and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, table ware and kitchen utensils. There is also a guest toilet, and a washing machine, iron and ironing board are at your disposal.
First floor
Internal stairs are leading to the first floor with two double bedrooms. Each bedroom has a TV, balcony access and an ensuite bathroom. Bedlinen and towels are provided.
Second floor
The second floor features a terrace with fantastic sea and mountain views. The large terrace is equipped with sun loungers and a Jacuzzi. Enjoy the amazing views and let the time go by as you spend some relaxing hours away from it all. A fourth double bedroom with balcony and ensuite bathroom is also on this floor.
OUTSIDE
With balconies and terraces on every level the villa offers generous outside space. The heated pool (20sqm) with waterfall feature and the sunbathing terrace below the pool are very inviting. There is also a dining terrace with portable BBQ. And the Jacuzzi on the top floor is an additional bonus.
