OVERVIEW
Villa Michelle is a charming family holiday home on the quiet, unspoilt island of Solta, close to the mainland town of Split, which can be reached by a 60 minute ferry ride. This family villa with its own heated pool, nestling in a lush Mediterranean garden, within 150 metres from the village beach is a perfect place for a relaxing family holiday in Croatia. The village has a shop and a few restaurants, and is surrounded by fields, vineyards and olive groves. It produces fantastic honey. You can spend your days snorkelling, biking and walking along the country trails, or make day trips to Brac island, Split, Trogir and Omis which has a long zip line. You can be as active or as "lazy" as you like, there is a lot to do and see.
Family seaside Villa Michelle was fully renovated in 2018 and comprises 200 square metres of building space and a 900 square metre garden with heated pool. The villa is pet friendly and offers three bikes included in the price. The car ferry from Split takes 60 min and the passenger catamaran takes 30 minutes to Solta.
Accommodation
Ground floor
The ground floor has a rustic charm of a typical Croatian coastal home, examples of which are a large stone fireplace and a clay amphora in the sitting room. This cosy sitting room with a squashy leather sofa, TV and a piano, is full of sunshine and opens out directly on a suntrap terrace with dining table and chairs, plenty of greenery and flowers. The galley kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, a two-ring electric hob, electric kettle, coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware.
On the ground floor are also two double bedrooms with king size double beds, sharing a shower. There is a washing machine in the downstairs shower room, iron and ironing board and a hair dryer are also provided. Bed linen and towels are provided.
First floor
A simple wooden staircase leads to the first floor, where there are two twin bedrooms which share a bathroom.
Outside
The villa's garden is magical, nooks and crannies offer a variety of sitting and dining places and there is a barbecue. The private heated pool has a massage jet and measures just under 8 by 4 metres. It has easy steps into the pool. On the sunbathing terrace there are eight sun loungers. A great place to unwind and soak up the sun.
