OVERVIEW

Luxury modern Villa Zola with private pool, and a pebbly beach right in front of it, is located on the unspoilt island of Solta, just a few miles from the mainland town of Split. Vibrant Split is the second largest city in Croatia. Just twenty metres separate the house from the sea and beaches. The nearest settlement is the quiet village of Necujam, less than half a mile away (500 metres), where you will find a few restaurants, bars and shops. The peaceful nature of the lovely island of Solta allows you to completely recharge your batteries. Enjoy the famous local honey, fantastic olive oil coming from the islands' acres of olive groves, delicious local red and white wine, the freshly caught fish, simply grilled and served with salads or traditionally with Swiss chard. Visit many crystal clear bays with pebble beaches. Near the village of Maslinica (9.5 miles) there is a small sandy beach. All the beaches are perfect for swimming and snorkelling and you can also enjoy most kind of water sports, such as kayaking, scuba diving and windsurfing. The whole family will love their swimming in the warm and inviting sea. If you are passionate about night life, there is Split, reached by a ferry in 60 minutes, or a private taxi boat in 15 min. Split is a must see, as it is the site of the world famous Diocletian's palace (Roman emperor of the 3rd century AD) and Roman Forum. It is also a modern city with fantastic shopping, restaurants, bars, beaches, markets, museums and galleries.

Luxury holiday home Zola is stylish and contemporary, spreading over 260 square metres of living space, which is plenty of room for six people, or up to eight people if you use the twin bedroom to sleep four in two queen beds. Every detail in this villa is perfect, including the gorgeous outdoor areas with top class seating and barbecue. The plot is 500 square metres, and the sea is just in front of you. This beautiful, modern villa with pool has a basement plus two floors, a barbecue and a gym. It is fully air-conditioned and has WiFi. The beds and bedrooms are luxurious, with large, wall-sized sliding glass doors to balcony and sea views, and luxurious bed linen with plenty of towels. Each room has LCD TV.

ACCOMMODATION

Ground floor

Ground floor comprises a sitting room with colours of cream and sand, a fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area. A large sliding glass door opens out onto the garden terrace, BBQ area and pool, which makes the room very light and airy. A very large, extremely inviting L-shaped sofa is comfortable enough for six people watching TV (LCD wall mounted), and there are additional armchairs. Stylish lighting, green plants and works of art enhance this relaxing sitting room. The modern kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, coffee maker, juicer, kettle, toaster, excellent cooking utensils and tableware. The kitchen has a large island/ breakfast bar with four bar chairs. In addition, there is a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, a baby cot and baby chair and a guest toilet.

First floor

Bedrooms with stunning sea views! The first floor comprises three luxury bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms as follows: bedroom 1 has a super king size double bed, an ensuite shower and a private balcony, Bedroom 2 has a super king size double bed, an ensuite shower and a private balcony, bedroom 3 has two queen size double beds and an ensuite bathroom with a bath tub. Bedroom 3 can be used as a twin room, or if appropriate, it can accommodate 3 to 4 persons. Each bedroom is individually air-conditioned and has an LCD TV. On waking up in the morning enjoy the most amazing sea views from bedrooms one and two.

Basement

Internal steps lead to a basement, where there is a gym with fitness equipment and a boxing bag, and a separate toilet. The second sitting room with TV has rustic, hand-crafted furniture. This is one look at the past in this super modern villa: old Croatian seaside homes used to have a rustic basement where they kept their olives and air-dried hams, together with a dining table where they could gather with friends to sample their wines and cured hams in winter time. Many new villas have kept this Croatian tradition.

OUTSIDE

Luxury private family villa Zola has a fantastic Mediterranean garden, with palm trees, pines, lemon, orange, rosemary and lavender. Seven steps lead from the sitting room to the 29 square metres (8 by 3.5 metres) swimming pool, with six sun beds and several superb sitting areas.  On the upper terrace in front of the living room there is an outdoor lounge with coffee table and chairs, next to the barbecue with sink and a lovely outdoor dining table and chairs. Enjoy the amazing sea views and fresh sea breeze. This is all such fun, and you will spend many mornings and evenings on that relaxing terrace which has everything!
