OVERVIEW
Villa Regatta is a beautifully appointed, air conditioned, two storey villa with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with wellness area, pool, table tennis and more. The villa lies on the outskirts of Murter on Murter Island, yet only a 5 minutes' walk from the City Beach Luke. There are several restaurants in just under one kilometre and also a Konzum supermarket. Murter is the oldest settlement on the island and starts off the Murter-Kornati regatta in April. The other villages are Betina, Jezera and Tisno, which is actually on the mainland. Betina is well known for its family run ship yards building strong and long lasting wooden boats. The Island is connected with the mainland by a very short bridge in Tisno.
Visiting the cities of Sibenik and Zadar is a must if you are interested in culture and history. Sibenik boasts four fortresses of which one, St. Nicholas Fortress, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Zadar, on the other hand, is the oldest continuously inhabited city in Croatia. Besides many historical sites you shouldn't miss the Sea Organ, an architectural sound art object and the Monument to the Sun, which turns on at night and produces a light show.
Krka National Park is only 45km from the villa and definitely worth a day trip. The villa is also perfectly located for boat trips and we are happy to organise these for you.
ACCOMMODATION
Ground floor
There are 12 steps to the entrance door as the villa is situated on a slight slope. On entering the open plan living area is to your right. The modern interior captivates with clear lines and a special feature is the curved ceiling with small LED lights imitating a starry sky. Mustard coloured sofas create an inviting atmosphere and the adjoining kitchen dining area completes the modern ambience. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster cooking utensils and table ware. The dining area seats eight people. For your convenience the villa offers free WiFi connection, satellite TV and also a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
On this floor there is also a double bedroom with super king size bed and a modern, ensuite shower room. The bedroom is air conditioned with access to a private terrace and has a TV and safe. A further bathroom with shower is also on the ground floor.
First floor
A wooden stair with sleek stainless steel handrails leads to the first floor with fitness area in the hall which has also a table football. There are three bedrooms on the first floor, two double bedrooms with super king size beds and one bedroom with bunk beds. The upstairs bathroom features a corner Jacuzzi bath and the porthole window offers a beautiful view over the roof tops towards the sea.
Each bedroom has a satellite TV and safe and access to a balcony. Bedlinen and towels are provided.
OUTSIDE
From the living area you have direct access to a beautifully tiled dining terrace with large barbecue, gas-cooker and sink. The 32 square metre pool is surrounded by a paved sunbathing terrace with rustic natural stone wall. Palm trees and other small trees and plants induce that typical Mediterranean feel. The owner has spared no expense to keep you occupied during your stay at Villa Regatta. The outdoor Jacuzzi and sauna, and a beautiful outside daybed relaxation area spell wellness pure. There is also an outdoor table tennis, and darts and 4 bicycles (2 electric and 2 mountain bikes) are at your disposal.
The pool can be heated on request between 1 May and 1 November. If your require pool heating, please give at least one week's notice prior to arrival.
