OVERVIEW
This luxury grand villa dates back to 1888 and has been completely renovated in 2021 to meet the modern standard of an exquisite holiday villa whilst retaining the beautiful façade and charm of a traditional stone house. With six ensuite bedrooms, two kitchen/dining areas and many outdoor spaces to dine and relax this beautiful villa offers ample room for a group of up to 12 people. Whether you want to sunbathe or take a dip, the view from the heated infinity pool is just amazing. To top it off you can relax in the sauna or Jacuzzi, and for the children there is even a trampoline and a play frame in the garden. The property is fully enclosed and gated.
Luxury Villa Turquoise with heated infinity pool is just 20 metres from the sea and the 4 km long sandy beach in Duce is a 5 minutes' drive from the villa. Duce beach has a shallow entrance to the sea and families with children love to go there for swimming and water games like picigin. Should you miss a little bit of city life we recommend to visit historic Split with its beautiful seafront promenade and excellent museums, galleries, shops and restaurants. Split is steeped in history and the ancient Roman Palace is now a UNESCO world heritage site.
There are many land and water based outdoor activities on offer and for a day trip we recommend to visit Krka National Park or a boat trip exploring the islands of Brac, Solta, Hvar, Vis and Korcula. And do not miss out on the nearby Cetina River adventures, where you can go for canyoning, white water rafting or zip lining across the canyon.
ACCOMMODATION
With an interior of 370 m² and 1300 m² outside space Villa Turquoise offers generous accommodation for 12 guests. The villa spreads over four levels with a laundry room on the ground floor, which is equipped with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.
First floor
The first floor has an elegant open plan living area with wooden flooring and pretty chandeliers. Turquoise upholstery, stylish tables and a side board combined with tasteful décor elements and a fireplace create a welcoming ambience. Large glass doors open to the balcony with another dining table and comfortable outdoor lounge seating. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, mixer, kitchen utensils and wine cooler, and the dining table comfortably sits six guests.
The overall colour scheme is turquoise with wooden elements' and partially exposed natural stone walls enhance the feeling of calm. All bedrooms have a desk and an ensuite shower room. Two bedrooms with double beds and one with twin beds. Bedlinen and towels are provided.
Second floor
Internal stairs lead to the second floor which has a similar layout to the first floor living area and also offers three ensuite double bedrooms and a furnished balcony.
Third floor
The attic room on the third floor is dedicated to entertainment and relaxation. Your children will love to play on the PS4 or have a game of billiard whilst you relax in the sauna.
OUTSIDE
Roof terrace
External stairs lead to the roof terrace with a lovely shaded sitting area, a Jacuzzi and a large sunbathing area. From there another flight of stairs leads to a further sunbathing area with sun loungers.
Pool terrace
The pool terrace with the heated infinity pool is on the second floor level. From there you have a lovely view over the harbour. There is also a barbecue outside and an adjoining dining room with traditional wooden table, cupboard and benches and an open fireplace.
Garden and terraces
As the villa is built into the hillside the garden is terraced with laid to lawn and paved areas on different levels. Your children will enjoy playing outside in the dedicated play area with play frame. There is even a trampoline. The outside space offers plenty of room for a large group of twelve guests.
There is private parking on the premises and also a garage parking place. The property is fully enclosed and gated.
