OVERVIEW
Luxury Villa La Vie Charmante with pool and professional gym is located just about 500 metres from the centre of the lovely village of Komiza, which lies on the western side of Vis Island. Hum Mountain with its 587 high peak towers over the village and you should definitely tie your hiking boots and climb up to enjoy the amazing views over Komiza, the island of Bisevo and the sea beyond. And on a clear day you might even be able to spot the volcanic reef of Jabuka. On your way up make a stop at the 'Church of the Holy Spirit' which is one of the smallest churches on Vis Island and is positioned at 560 metres above sea level.
The small island is approx. 90 square kilometres in size and is located 45 kilometres from the mainland. There are frequent ferry and catamaran connections between Split and Vis Island. There is much to do on the island and those activity lovers among you will have a vast variety of outdoor activities to choose from, such as sailing, parasailing, riding, walking, climbing, diving, swimming, cycling, tennis and many more. Even though small in size, the island attracts with numerous sights and an extensive gastronomic offer. And also the filmmakers turned to the island of Vis to shoot 'Mamma Mia! Here we go again'. Vis Island and the surrounding islets are also knows for a series of endemic lizards, bugs and algae which are not found anywhere on land.
Villa La Vie Charmante is the perfect base to explore the island itself and the surrounding islands of Solta, Brac, Korcula and Bisevo, to name but a few. And if time allows the coastal towns of Split, Trogir, Rogoznica and Primosten are worth a visit, too.
ACCOMMODATION
As the villa is built on a slope the villa entrance and the main living area are on the first floor.
First floor
An open hall leads to the main living area comprising a spacious lounge, dining and kitchen area. The lounge has a large, comfortable L-shaped sofa, LCD HDTV, plus flat rate WiFi, and the contemporary dining area and kitchen are a lovely place to gather for a meal. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ice maker, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, tableware and kitchen utensils.
Large, over corner glass doors open to the terrace and pool connecting the inside with the outside. The sea views are just divine!
The master bedroom is also on this floor and has a king-size bed, TV, and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. The large window faces south-west and allows a fantastic view of the Adriatic Sea.
Ground floor
A flight of stairs leads to the ground floor with three delightful double bedrooms with king-size beds and TV. All bedrooms have their private bathroom with walk-in shower and access to the ground floor terrace. Quality bedlinen and towels are provided.
The gym has all the equipment you would expect from a professional gym and there is a separate bathroom with shower. This bathroom also houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.
OUTSIDE
The main terrace with pool (45 sqm) and sunbathing area is on the first floor level of the villa and provides a dining table with chairs, a large sun umbrella and a mobile barbecue. A comfortable garden sofa and several sun loungers invite to spend your time outside, enjoying the view and taking a dip now and then. There is also an outdoor shower by the pool. Three cars can be parked in the grounds.
