It retains the main components of its original grid layout with a large paved square and parts of the original town wall. Notable buildings include several medieval churches and the 15th century Rector's palace and Bishop's palace. Hotel Pagus in Pag offers a very good wellness centre. There are a good range of restaurants and shops in the town.
